Detailed Reviews
Stayed here with my family for the new year. Got the family room for the 4 of us.
PROS- excellent location, staff very friendly and accomodating, bed and comforter warm and comfortable, good value for money
CONS- room lacking in basic amenities (no desk to put stuff, no glass for drinking or brushing teeth), shower not fully enclosed hence water splashes out, doesnt clean the room (DOH directive allegedly), parking tight, kitchen closes very early (7pm), coffee tastes like water
Although there may be lots of CONS, the staff's excellent hospitality and drive to accommodate any of our requests certainly makes up for all deficiencies. Overall, a pleasant experience and will highly recommend to others.

The service, ambiance, and location are good.
For their ervice, we requested an additional pillow but at no charge.
For the ambiance, we really feel the ambiance of Baguio City on its verandas.
For the location, it is beside the SM Baguio, Baguio Cathedral, and Burhan Park within walking distance.
It's quite noisy in the hallway when we are inside the room and they have no spacious parking. You will surrender your car key to the front desk so that they can manage the car parking. I'm quite hesitant on surrender the keys but at least there's no damage or missing at all on our car until we check out.

We took the bus to Baguio so we wanted to stay somewhere central, G1 Lodge was a good choice. It's very close to SM and Session Rd. Staff was friendly. The room was a little small but clean and cozy. Beds were comfy but we only had one pillow each, just FYI for people who require 2. Since we were 2 guets in the room, it would have been better if there had been 2 chairs instead of just 1. The room had a lot of outlets which was great though interestingly enough, there was no outlet close enough to the table to plug in the electric kettle. There was no bedside table but there was a spacious ledge where we could put things but a side table would have made the room look neater because so many wires (phone cord, fridge plug, etc) were visible. When we first got to the room, the aircon was quite warm and I think the battery in the remote was old so nothing happened when we tried to change the settings. But after fiddling around with the battery, we were able to get the remote to work and the aircon was nice and cool. Aircon was necessary since our window did not open up to the outside but rather to the staircase. However, at least if we looked out of our window, we could get a glimpse of the outside and we could tell if it was raining or not. The shower curtain smelled a bit funny (amoy kulob) on the first day because it got a bit damp but after we made sure to leave the exhaust fan on, this was no longer a problem. The bathroom had a good set of toiletries (bath gel, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste, hand soap (slippers and laundry bags were also provided), perhaps a cup or a toothbrush holder to put the toothbrushes in would be a good addition. We had 2 big bath towels but perhaps it would be good to also provide 1 hand towel. There was no closet and that was ok because they provided hooks in the room. However, I would suggest adding hooks in the bathroom and more in the room. Our room was usually quiet except for when people in the lobby or restaurant got rowdy. It would be good if the staff could ask guests to quiet down if they get too noisy, even before the guests in the rooms complain. There were some issues with the internet but that was because of a province-wide issue, it would be good if they had a back-up internet provider. After that was fixed, we were able to connect to the internet but at least in our room, the connection was spotty at times so I decided to use my mobile data instead for work. Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay there again if I need to stay in Baguio's city center. Hope Management can take the feedback above into consideration. An additional suggestion: since the lobby is quite dark, please consider putting some lamps on the front desk or some overhead lights in that area so that it won't be hard to read the forms we have to sign.

Stayed on a Friday night, the only advantage of booking this hotel is its location (few steps away SM Baguio, Session Road and Burnham).
The management of the hotel needs improvement, they lack foresight. We were checked in late due to housekeeping issues, they should've added more manpower during peak days. The room is small with no cabinets. We went there at 10 am and we were given false hopes that we could have an early check in!
Maybe I was expecting too much, but this hotel has one of the highest reviews in the area, too bad they didn't perform during our stay. Will not recommend to anyone.

great place to stay, the staff was excellent in fixing our flawed reservation. the room was great with two views. location close to mall. the breakfast was expensive and purely Filipino, so we walked across the street to the Hill Station for breakfast, one note, 5 our of 5 taxi drivers did not know where it was but did know the place next door, 45 Hotel, so use that for bearings with a taxi driver. there was no coffee available in the room but the coffee shop in the lobby was good, all and all a good experience, we will go there again,

Overall G1 Lodge meets our expectation and we had a great Christmas celebration. Aesthetically pleasing and has optimal location for the must visits in Baguio. The check-in was quick, the interior of the hotel is really Instagramable ☺️ The staff were helpful as well to attend to our requests. They have plated breakfast which is really good especially the Longganisang Hubad with their special suka 🤤 They also offer Baguio treats and pasalubongs with reasonable prices. Highly recommend you to book in G1 Lodge. We will definitely come back again!

Nice place, close to almost everything you need in the city. The location is close to the bus terminal, and a mall. Room we stayed in has 2 big beds and has the most basic amenities you'll need (no safety box in our room though). TV has Netflix and wifi is fast enough. Breakfast buffet is better than expected, better than others has to offer for the same pricing. Will be happy to stay again in the future.

Strategically located in the heart of Baguio along session road, G1 lodge is one of the place to be if you're looking for a cheap but homey stay in the Philippine summer capital. You are greeted by friendly and efficient staff at the front desk, and the bell hops ready to assist you with your luggage/luggages. The rooms we stayed in are small compared from the usual manila hotel rooms we stay in but, you're not in baguio to stay in the hotel, you're there to see the sights, to walk, to breath the fresh pine air and to eat the local cuisines. The good thing about the hotel is that you can just walk around the area of the hotel and already you can see the must visit places and restaurants in the city.
We wish we had more time to stay in Baguio, the storm barely made us go outside but still. I can wait for my next visit. And we will be looking at G1 Lodge again.

+1
G1 Lodge Hotel is conveniently located behind SM Baguio. Just few minutes away from Sky Ranch Baguio, Burnham Park and Baguio Cathedral.
The rooms are clean, bed is clean and comfy though they only provide 2 pillows and when asked for extra pillows, unfortunately it is not available.
Good that our room has a balcony so you can enjoy the cool breeze in the morning and night and serves as dining area. Slippers are provided so you don’t have to walk on cold flooring or the bathroom. Iron and Ironing board is available upon request. Hot and cold water for shower is available. The only comment is they do not have a full/half mirror in the room and the only mirror is above the bathroom sink.

G1 Lodge is a hip place to stay. It's facade gives it away. It's one of the places where I'd stay if I wanted to travel incognito.
The camote soup they serve at the resto is one of a kind. It's comfort food for cold nights (may bagyo when we were there). As you take a spoonful, it's like being covered by a warm blanket in a cold afternoon. Very tasty and comforting 🥰.
The room where we stayed, Butterfly Room, is intimate and comfortable. Blankets smelled fresh and clean. Pillows were ok. What's remarkable is the height of the bed which is slightly higher than the usual hotel beds that we're used to.

Hi Shaira!
Unfortunately we don't have a swimming pool here at the hotel as well as a gym. But we are just close to almost everything since we are just within the City. Everything here are walking distance :)
