This hotel is very well placed, within a stone's throw of the main square. It is attractive, clean and comfortable. The room was fine - though noisy, as are most city centre hotels in Peru. The food was ok, but not worth staying in for as there are good restaurants nearby. We did not find the staff very friendly, which... More

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family. Reception very welcoming, but the night duty receptionist, who did his very best to help us, had no English. Room was large with sofas, but the carpet was grubby and the wardrobe difficult to use due to the size of the (very comfortable) bed. Air con worked fine, bathroom good. Hotel was... More

This hotel is in a convenient place just off the main square and has clearly been modernised recently. But the staff were uninterested in various things; - some of our daughters washibg was misplaced, buteventually returned. - a rock band played next door until 2.30 am both nights, getting gradually louder as the nights progressed. - all guests are promised... The hotel is very central and in a great location. It is in a modern style. My first room was huge but the light coloured carpet showed up all stains. It also smelt a bit musty. There were some water stains on the wall paper which probably accounted for this. Unfortunately the sheets were badly stained and either hadn't been... More

We enjoyed the stay, very large room, good breakfast and good service. We liked the location and the quiet third floor. The wi-fi was a bit weak. Staff was helpful and interested in improving our stay.

A nice and good hotel, located just 1 block from the City Square. Big and nice rooms and bathroom. Bedside reading lights controlled from a single switch. Not convenient for couples. Small breakfast selection. Very good staff.

We would highly recommend Los Conquistadores! It's walking distance to the historic and lovely main square, the Plaza de Armas, shops, and several restaurants. The hotel was recently beautifully renovated (you'll note the sunny dining area, upscale bar, and convenient business center) and the staff eagerly anticipates and addresses any special needs that you may have, e.g., I was having... Some of the rooms are a little "loud" when it comes to color palette but overall this was a very nice hotel and a great experience. The staff were very helpful and nice. The food at breakfast was quite good. You do get some street noise depending on which room you get so ask for a room far from the... More

When researching hotels in Trujillo, it was hard to find a good price near the Plaza de Armas. I finally selected Los Conquistadores, at $88 a night. Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend his hotel. I always try and get a room with a large bed due to my 6’4 husband. The room had a king... More

A nice place to stay in a city that is also very lovely. You are near the city square with its charming surroundings. The amenities are fine and the building is of quality. You can't miss on this one. Be sure to visit the ruins of the civilizations that precede the Incan, Chan Chan and the Temples of the Sun... More
