We stayed here after our fantastic luxury train journey from Cusco on the Andean Explorer (a must do!). A nice hotel and the rooms were good and the breakfast was also nice. We also had an evening meal here which was also good. The staff are very attentive with even the manager helping us down with our luggage!

Before beginning this hotel was part of a tour with Condor Travel therefore didn't have a say in choice nor no price. The nice thing about this hotel is that has its own jetty for lake tours the reason for being here. Although not a Central town location the town is a little rough around the edges anyway so the...

The room was clean and very comfortable with a fantastic view of Lake Titicaca. The hotel has it's own pier for boat trips out on the lake. Service and dinner in the restaurant was also excellent. If you need oxygen and don't want to shell out $40 buy a can of O2 shots in a store while you're travelling around...

The setting: You are about a 10 minute ride from the center of Puno, and an hour by car from the Juliaca airport. The reception/lobby is nice and welcoming, with plenty of seating and complimentary hot tea. The wifi works great in the lobby. The hotel has small but picturesque garden, its own pier on Lake Titicaca as well as...

My husband and I spent 2 days/nights in Puno at the Casa Andina Private Collection. We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean with a wonderful bed and great bath sheets. The restaurant was lovely - we had wonderful dinners, an awesome cooked to order breakfast, and a fabulous South American Wine list. We had no complaints. The service...

I had stayed here last year without my wife and chose to visit again this year when we were traveling together. The rooms are clean and a good size. I love the view of the lake and wandering along the pier. The bar and food are a little high priced for Peru (basically US prices) but not too bad and...

I read the reviews of this hotel the day before we were headed here and I was concerned about what we would find given the recent reviews. I will tell you that I found all the staff to be friendly, courteous, and helpful. We ate at the Alma Restaurant our first night at the hotel and the food, though not...

After a misunderstanding we eventually arrived at this quite comfortable, beautifully situated hotel. As already stated (see fjorgens review) travellers must be made aware that there are several categories of Casa Andina Hotels! The Private Collection Hotels are supposedly the 4 star category. The accoustics could have been better...but we were not bothered by noise. (The hotel was not full...

Dear guest, Thank you for choosing our Private Collection Puno hotel and for letting us know about your impressions. As you mention, Casa Andina offers three different brands for all our travelers within Peru and our Private Collections hotels are designed to offer a first class experience to our guests. We regret the impression you took from our restaurant service,...

I write primarily due to the confusion between this and the other Casa Andina properties. This is a very average hotel. The walls were quite thin and noise transmitted easily when the hotel was full. Security was lax (maids left the exterior sliding glass doors unlocked on the ground floor level rooms each day). The dining room was poor, and...

We regret that we did not meet your expectations and that this caused inconveniences during your stay. We assure you that your comments were shared with our team and hotel manager in order to reinforce this...

Easily the best located hotel in Puno, out of town and on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately (and highly unusually for a Casa Andina hotel), the service is appalling. The staff just don't seem to care - despite offering an airport pick up service on one occasion they sent a very dodgy local...
