I was very happy with this hostel. The view is wonderful and the people extremely friendly. The brteakfast included is good. It is a short walk to the main plaza. I can really recommend it and would stay here again.

It is on walking distance of plaza de armas, big beds, a beautiful view upon the titicaca lake and breakfast is included. They also have laundry service, but my stuff got mixed up with somebody else's laundry.

I stayed there for several nights. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and clean. It has a great panoramic view of the lake on the rooftop. From bus terminal to the hostel by taxi was 6 soles and the driver found this hostel with the address easily. It's uphill, so if you walk back from the centre, it can be...

We only stayed one night at this hostel in Puno and were pleasantly surprised it was quite nice. The bed in our double room was comfortable and the shared bathroom was clean and the showers hot. Unfortunately we could not try the breakfast because of an early bus. A taxi from the bus terminal is 5-6 soles. Don't pay any...

Close to Plaza de armas, Aymarak was a nice small hostel where I could spend a night. The owner was friendly, the breakfast was good and they had a nice view of lake titicaca. This is far from being a hostel full of accomodations, just as Puno is far from being very entertaining, but it was a warm and welcoming...

My friend and I were doing the islands of Puno tours and had no place to sleep when we came back. Lucky for us, is that we made an English friend who was going to a hostel and invited us to join him, or we wouldn't have find Aymarak. After two nights with low hygiene conditions (the islands don't offer...

Firstly, the owner speaks great English. The breakfast was great and included, fresh bread, cheese, meat, jam, teas, fresh coca, coffee. The beds were comfortable and the staff, two awesome guys, one from California, had good conversation. There was hot water for a nice long shower and the washroom was always clean and toilet paper stocked daily. Although we heard...

Although the staff were pleasant, shower warm and beds comfy, this hostel was SOOOO cold. I got home at 2pm and had to get into bed with about 4 layers on as this was the only way I could keep warm. It was difficult to sleep at night because I was so cold. I do wonder whether most hostels in...

Ideal for a stop off in Puno to see the Lake. Clean, quiet dorms Small Kitchen (a bit dirty though) Cheap rates Helpful staff A slight walk down into the main town but there are convenience stores on the same road as the hostel. They run a few tours but check costs in town also. Breakfast is good. The taxi...

This is a fantastic choice for place to stay! It is located in northern Puno, which makes it less convenient overall, and you have to walk up the hill to get there. However, the owner speaks great English, the beds are reasonably comfortable, there is hot water, and breakfast is a comprehensive buffet with bread, jam, meat/ham, this cheese thing,...

“Check well about the location and the area of this hostel before you commit to booking. Look for hostels in the main Plaza area. Many avail for same price or less. This hostel is in poorly lit residential neighborhood far from City Center. City Tourist Police were advising us not to walk in the area of the hostel !”
