Edgar and Consuelo are great hosts. Food is excellent. Edgar helps with all the arrangements for our visit to the Titicaca lake. Rooms are comfortable. It would be nice to have some hooks to hang bags, jackets, towels,... It is close to the town center.

This place is legit. Edgar speaks English and is very helpful. His wife doesn't speak English, but very helpful in a way - it's my fault anyways for not trying to pick up Castilian. Although it is not in the very center of Puno, it's only 5~6 blocks away and is very quiet during the night, which really good for...

Mixed feelings about Casa Panq'arani. A bit disappointed, it's not as good as the reviews would suggest. It is definitly a lovely place, but not as special as you might think. The owners are very sweet and helpful, but it would be easier if you speak Spanish (very good English in the emails though). Communication via email when booking (and...

Edgar and Consuelo who run Casa Panqarani could not have been more helpful! This is an eclectic "casa" - probably more suited to backpackers and travelers looked for a more personalized hotel, rather than those who prefer the sterility of a modern hotel. They were very attentive to our needs and helped in whatever way possible. Casa Panqarani is a...

Edgar was a fantastic host. He could not do enough for us. His aim was that we simply enjoyed our time in Puno with no worries and with his help that is exactly what we did. He guided us as to where to go, where to eat - though once Consuelo arrived home we ate at the house because she...

What a gift to stay at this lovely residence. Edgar was away, but Consuelo and her daughter (and lovely newborn baby) were there to welcome us. We only had two nights and one day in Puno and they made last minute arrangements that night for us to tour the Lake Titicaca islands in the morning (which turned out to be...

Unfortunately my husband & I only had 1 night here but would have loved longer. Edgar was the perfect host (his wife was away so we didn't get to sample their famous food). Breakfast was ample & good. The house & setting is romantic, with a personalised quirky decor. Slept really well in the comfy, quiet bed. It's a 5...

When the big wooden door in the pink wall opened and we were welcomed by the smiling Edgar and ushered into the cozy orange and blue courtyard, and then into Consuela's inviting kitchen, we immediately felt at home. Too exhausted to continue our planned itinerary, we explained our situation to Edgar who arranged an extra room through a friend since...

It's rare to be so moved by the care and comfort of strangers, but my stay at the Casa Panqarani was absolutely incredible. I showed up in Puno after battling a fever and cold for the last few days, and the altitude took my health in the wrong direction. Edgar immediately got me medical attention and oxygen, Consuelo cooked soups...

An excellent choice of accommodation in Puno. All previous excellent reviews are correct. One of the nicest places we have stayed in during our 3 weeks in South America. Spacious rooms, hot showers with towels, shampoo, and little extras that make the accommodation special. Simple breakfast but held in the kitchen in a beautiful room, that makes you feel at...
