This is a family run hostel, the family that own this hostel are very helpful. Yes, they will try to sell you all their tours but you can get them a lot cheaper at tour offices in the town. The hostel is quite close to the centre but it is down a hill which is quite difficult to walk back...

We came in the morning, and therefor had to pay for an extra half night. Already then they tried to sell us all kinds of expensive tours. Hot Water didn't work half the time. The breakfast was 2 pieces of white bread and a rotten (yes, rotten) banana. No pancakes as advertised. The dvd and computer facilities advertised were constantly...

This hostel is the cheapest to find in puno, and it does have its faults. The family who rent out rooms is very eager to sell tours expensively. Too much. Husband is Nice but they were not very flexible or helpfull with our schedule like other hostels have been. Rooms are extremely cold, but there's hot water in the shower....

We arrived in Puno around 5:30 pm and took a taxi to the hostel. The driver didn't know the name of the hostel, but we gave him the address and he knew exactly where it was. When we stayed the road was being paved (almost finished). The family was very helpful and friendly. They did try to sell us an...

I would not advise staying here. It is not really a hostel more of a home with a few dorm rooms, not much of an atmosphere. There was no hot water for the shower and only a cold water tap on the sink for washing your hands. There were NO lockers. The people who ran this place are more concerned...

This hostel is on the hill over looking puno itself, the staff were extremly friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and tidy, it is a 10 min stroll down the hill to the main square and shops. after being in some raucous hostels it was a nice place to chill and relax.

The hostel isn't as far from the town centre as people make out, it's probably 5 minutes to the 'high street' and another five to the main plaza (although the walk will be longer on the way back because of the steep hill, but a taxi will take you from the plaza to the hostel for around 3/4 soles) The...

This hostel is up quite a steep hill, beside a massive building site and many barking dogs-if you don't mind the walk, it seems pretty safe. Taxis will drive up there (6 soles from bus terminal), but not the moto-taxis. The breakfast was heavy on the carbs (pancake and bread rolls; no fresh fruit), which may not be a bad...

Hostelbookers showed me this hostel as the cheapest option and as I was planning on staying just for one night in Puno, I went for it. The hostel is indeed far away from the town, around 15 minutes walking, but that was not really a problem for me as the family was very nice and gave me a map, told...

The family who runs the hostel was very friendly. There was a kitchen and dining room available to us. We staying in a private room with shared bathroom and were very comfortable - the room was clean and spacious. The only complaint I have, which doesn't even reflect on the hostel itself, is the neighborhood. It's far from the main...
