Located one block back from the main tourist strip, this is a welcoming hotel with nice staff and a MODERN elevator. You might laugh, however, this is an essential piece of equipment when staying in Puno, especially if you are not used to the altitude. Nice rooms, cable tv, and lovely presented bathrooms. The breakfasts here are sensational, try the...

We got great deals on our rooms at the Intiqa. The location was great - just a few blocks up from the train station and a block up from the main street. However - the rooms were loud!!! Outside noise was not an issue, but rather noise from inside the hotel. Every time a door closes, toilet flushes, tv is...

The staff was very helpful and flexible. We did not pre-arrange many tours or transportation and the hotel staff got us airport transportation and tours at reasonable prices at the last minute. The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant was very good.

We stayed there early June, the night tempreture is probably This hotel does not have central heating, only a small plug in heater in the room. We walked into a freezing room, and had ask...

we are surprised by the comments from local guides about our local weather, we have the help of Lake Titicaca that allows the cultivation of corn in all around the lake, this indicates that we have a mild climate, healthy living (in the winter time an average of 18 degrees Celsius in the day, 3 degrees Celsius at night in...

The breakfast buffet at this hotel was great, very extensive and something for everyone - they even cooked pancakes for me on request! Our room would have benefited from a lick of paint and the bathroom was a bit cold, however, it was clean and comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. As our room was on the 4th...

My partner and I had a very nice stay at Intiqa Hotel. I would first like to thank the staff for the incredible caring and assistance they showed. My partner was unfortunately afflicted with a bad case of altitude sickness and passed out in the lobby. They immediately came to our assistance, helping me to revive him and providing oxygen...

Hot water, wireless Internet, three computers with Internet connection. Upper floors have a view of Lake Titicaca. That side has some street noise though. Can arrange tours. Good TV with a few English speaking channels. Elevator.

My husband and I stayed at Intiqa and we loved it! The hotel is located in a quiet little street walking distance from the Main turisty Boulevard and from the Main Square. Service was excellent and the rooms were great! We had a great view of the lake from our 5th floor room and it was also very quiet at...

We changed to Intiqa Hotel after a poor experience at another hotel in Puno. The place is well maintained, staff very helpful and breakfast was very good. Location on a quite street within walking distance of attractions is a plus. Price/value relationship is very good. A big plus is the it has an elevator, which is real handy due to...
