It was our first visit of the jungle and we enjoyed it a lot also thanks to Bello Horizonte. Accommodation was simple but comfortable, we had everything we needed. Our english speaking guide was great and very helpful, ready to show us everything what jungle offers. We saw tarantulas,sloth, caimans and plenty of birds etc. We just missed piranha fishing....

This was one of many highlights of our trip. The lodge was basic but the food was great and the people were fantastic. The people we joined up with for our trips were also extremely nice. Our guide, Freddy, was excellent and could spot animals instantly. It is also nice to know that the profits from the lodge go to...

The staff at Bello Horizonte is absolutely fabulous!!!!!! The lodge itself is smaller with huts that have two rooms. Each room has it's own bathroom (no hot water). Electricity is available for a few hours at night. There are mosquito nets and the huts are enclosed with screens but otherwise open air. Meals are included and the food was excellent...
