Hotel description
The Cascades Hotel is located in a spectacular setting on the Palo Alto River, just 3km (2 miles) from the Center of Bajo Boquete and at a slightly higher elevation. You are still close to the town to enjoy the local restaurants, shopping and parades, but slightly removed. The Palo Alto River cascades by and Volcán Barú (our dormant volcano) towers above, while a spring-fed stream ambles between the trees and paths on the hotel grounds. The views from every room are stunning; the lush, tropical, grounds feature bromeliads and orchids dripping from the trees. A large gazebo with a wood-burning fireplace is ready for dining or reading, and quiet seating areas are nestled amongst the cloud forest gardens. Bird-lovers will be amazed with the variety of species than can seen daily in the flowers and treetops.Your choice of accommodations at the Cascades include King-sized hotel rooms and Queen-sized 1-bedroom suites, several with sleeping lofts. Our largest suites can accommodate up to 6 people, and have private porches for stargazing and watching the sunrises and sunsets over the mountains.With our commitment to health and the environment, the entire property is non-smoking.
