Beach Bay Hotel is an ok hotel, nothing special but there are some issues. Cleanliness is deceiving, while the rooms appear neat and clean, turn the lights on at night and watch the cockroaches scatter. The location may seem fine but if you are unfortunate to be on the side closest to the neighbouring Grand Hyatt hotel, be prepared to...

If you don’t want to spend a fortune on the super-luxury hotels in Muscat, Beach Bay offers a reasonable alternative. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is well-situation just across the street from the Grand Hyatt and about two blocks from a very nice stretch of beach. Nothing about the hotel is stunning, but ‘most everything is just...

Hotels in Muscat Qurum area are in general very expensive but we found this small hotel at a reasonable price. We stayed two nights at the hotel in October. It is well situated in the embassy area next to the Grand Hyatt and only 2 min walk from the Qurum beach. It takes only 15 - 20 min from the...

The beach bay hotel is a 3 star hotel through and through. The location however is worth the cost as you are next door to the grand hyatt hotel which is on the public beach. The Hyatt has amazing views, beautiful pools, and great restaurants all of which are right across the street. The staff during the day are certainly...

This is a cheap, clean and comfortable hotel, the rooms are a good size and the staff were polite. The breakfast was included and had a reasonable selection for the standard of hotel. The beach is a 2 minute walk away.

Made a last minute booking online via Trip Advisor after looking for affordable by the beach accommodation in Muscat. This was it. After a lengthy delay at the airport our arrival time was after midnight but Reception staff were there to help. Helped out with room service at 1 am and our king bed (adjoining beds) was comfy and welcoming....

I had a Great stay, nice, accommodating staff, and a very accessible place; can easily catch a taxi, can just walk to a nearest convenience store. The place is near to the beach so you can just walk around or jog in the afternoon.

We stayed at the Beach Bay Hotel for 4 nights. On our arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady. We arrived before the check in time but it was not a problem. We were allowed to go straight up to our room. We were on the top floor facing The Hyatt Hotel. room was very quiet, spotlessly...

This place is nothing special, but, chances are, you didn't come to Muscat to spend a lot of time in the hotel anyway, right? (If that's what you have planned, perhaps one of the resorts would suit you better). The rooms are run-down, but not gross or anything. The WIFi is The better in some rooms than others, the Indian...
