This is not a HOTEL!!! Sophie and Hussain are great host... We stayed for 2 nights / 3 days in ground floor where the dining area is... It is conveniently located close to Sahab hotel.... The property is in a quiet residential locatily, however, opposite a mosque... The rooms are basic with comfy beds...

Me and my friend wanted to visit Jebel Akhdar after a recommendation from a colleague. We found the contact info from Mr. Hamed on tripadvisor and the stay was arranged quickly and uncomplicated. Sophie from http://www.couleurs-oman.com suggested a couple of hiking trips and would give us good directions but I'd recommend taking advantage of her guiding experience. Food (3 course...

I stayed one night here and was impressed by everything - especially the staff. First thing to say, this is not really a hotel - more of a guesthouse. There is also no sign outside, but if you have the GPS co-ordinates, it takes you right to the gates. The drive up is fun too, and even though it is...

I was fortunate to spend two nights at Bait Al Jabal. From the moment I booked a room, Mr. Hamed was responsive to my emails and very helpful in arranging some excursions for me during my stay in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar. He was a most attentive and kind host who made sure things would go smoothly for me and that I...

Not a hostel or hotel. Some very expensive rooms in an empty house that is permanently for rent in an uninteresting location. Mr Hamed was not in sight and the place is 'run' by a French semi professional couple. There is nothing 'Oman' about Bait Al Jabal.

We had already experienced Beit Al Jabal in its early beginnings in 2010 and we already enjoyed it as the best alternative to international hotels in Oman, at reasonable prices. Rooms are nice and clean, great majlis to enjoy dinners and evenings with friends, good location easy to find out. Only water system should be improved with pressure booster device...

We had a wonderful stay at Bait Al-Jabal, a great addition to the limited hotel offer in Saiq. The other 2 hotels in town are incredibly overpriced, so we decided to ask around and eventually were led to Mr. Hamid. He is a wonderful host and offers his guests super comfortable rooms, which are sparkling clean. 2 of our friends...
