Stayed here just for a night with my family of 5. We took two rooms. Reservations by phone weren't awesome, there was a lot of back and forwards trying to book. But we eventually managed. I had low expectations however was pleasantly surprised from arrival to departure service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were attentive, welcoming. Helpful and pleasant. Especially Laurent and Christophe. The rooms were spacious, facilities catered for all needs. Food was good and we able to order items not on the menu. We cannot wait to stay here again.
Pleasant stay, the location is beautiful! The views from the pool and the natural pool in front of the hotel are breathtaking and you can also walk to the Ile des pines natural pool from there. Room is comfortable and clean and the a/c works (different from the Le Méridien Noumea that doesn’t). However, I wouldn’t rate it as a 5 star hotel. A 5 star hotel features a flawless service, staff speaking other languages, amazing food, great room amenities. Some staff members are not well trained (Violetta and Zerena were great, I must say!), and the great majority doesn’t speak english, breakfast buffet could have more options as well as the restaurant menu, restaurant service is slow, one time they brought me the wrong dish but as I was starving already due to the slow service, I just ate what came. Just the 3-4 options all days if you don’t choose the buffet for lunch. Due to the amazing scenery it 100% worths the visit.…
The location is stunning and the hotel beautiful as everyone has said. The local staff are also generally very friendly. The food I would rate as not very good and you will look at spending $300 au for two courses and a bottle of wine. This is just daylight robbery. Even if the food was top notch it is massively expensive, but I thought it was average at best. Then there's the bar which is very beautiful but with absolutely nobody in it. The local beer is $26 for half a litre!!!!! I wonder why nobody is in there? Singapore is classed as one of the most expensive cities in the world and beer there is about $15 . A shame they are so greedy here.
My 6-night rewards points stay at this beautiful island location for a holiday was such an inspiration as I'm writing a book about the historic NASA Apollo 8 mission to the moon! Everything was simply amazing at the Le Meridien Ile des Pins from the welcome gift, hospitality, hotel restaurant world class cuisine, stunning island views and friendly atmosphere. The nearby natural pool with snorkeling in the world's second largest coral reef preserve was a plus, and I even sighted a rainbow wrass fish! Truly an unforgettable and memorable experience. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium elite rewards member, the room upgrade to a bungalow was the perfect place for any writer to find inspiration! Super thanks to Laurent and the entire staff for such a wonderful stay! I look forward to perhaps a return visit the next time I'm in New Caledonia and I'll also definitely recommend to all my friends and business colleagues to visit the Le Meridien Ile des Pins for a delightful holiday at this beautiful resort.…
From the moment we entered the resort, there was a sense of excitement and awe of the beauty of the location. It truly is a little slice of paradise (for as long as your leave and budget allows). What can I say that hasn't ready been said? It's incredible. The rooms are a little bit tired but very comfortable. The food was great and the serves, generous (a touch expensive as is the case with all of New Caledonia). The hotel manager was attentive and took a genuine interest in asking guests how everything was and took the time to chat to people and make recommendations of places. My family and I had a wonderful stay, feeling extremely relaxed from start to end.
