We spent a long weekend in Walvis Bay and had a great time at Pelican Point Lodge. It was winter (June) and there were only 2 other customers (couple) so we practically had the entire place to ourselves. We particularly enjoyed the room layout, with windows at both ends, offering great views. The food was delicious and the staff very...

Incredible setting that has to be seen to be believed. Even better than the setting though is the staff and service.Wonderfully friendly, courteous and helpful. The food is incredible as well. Stay for at least two nights and be sure to kayak with the seals!

We stayed at Pelican Point for two nights. The drive towards Pelican Point was just as exciting as our whole stay. Once we got to Walvis Bay, we had to call Pelican Point to receive our last directions. The most important one was to deflate our tires onto a level that low, we wouldn't dare to do it ourselves without...

A very beautiful and nice lodge in a magic place. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A minimum of two days is necessary to really experience the place. I slept lik a log, made walks and looked at the fascinating mix of oil riggs, boats, birds, endless views and seals.

This is a wonderful experience which started with an exciting drive to the Hotel. Fantastic way to see seals and flamingos in the wild being isolated from it all. Charming staff and delicious food. Confortable and spacious bedrooms. Have already recommended this unique experience to some friends.

We spent 2 nights at Pelican Point Lodge and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are really friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was great too. Its an adventurous 4x4 drive to the lodge and the lodge is quite remote and peaceful. We were upgraded to the 'Captain's Cove' suite which was absolutely stunning. We did a kayak tour in...

Dear Maggie, Thank you very much for your kind words. It is always nice to hear that we are doing a good job. I also want to mention that we are looking at solar solutions to have warm water and power throughout the day. So in the future we will be able to offer you a hot shower when you...

We spent two incredible nights at this Lodge. It is remote and beautiful. The rooms are great and our room, the Captains Cabin like nothing else we have encountered. The linens, towels etc are quality. Wow it was perfect, quiet, meditative and just special. Please stay away if you are seeking a party or adrenaline venue, it is the total...

You drive and drive on a gravel road then hit the sand. Have to deflate tires and then keep going. At the very tip a lighthouse and the hotel. Nice rooms but the toilet area is weird - no privacy. Comfy beds. Good views. Food good but ran out of staples like butter. Kayaking great fun and seals are everywhere...

A challenging drive in; a real 4x4 adventure, An awe inspiring location; truly beautiful. A comfortable, relaxing stay. A surprise room upgrade. A unique, memorable experience. Highly recommended. Disappointing that only the most expensive red on the wine list was available, perhaps being made aware of this when handing over the wine list would remove the awkward situation thereafter,
