Amazing lodge. Worth spending a night or two at. The location is amazing with a view of the Lagoon. Perfect for a stroll along the water and close to some nice restaurants as well. Friendly staff and great service.

Located in front of a beautiful flamingo-filled lagoon, plantation-chic styled Egumbu lodge has probably the nicest rooms in Walvis Bay. Breakfast is standard and as in other guest houses in the area, fruit is absent from the table. Other minor problem: WiFi signal does not reach the rooms. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

The emplacement of the lodge is very nice, great view on the lagoon with flamingos. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Mine was with a nice bath. Breakfast with a lot of choice, perfect for gourmand like me... The owners and the staff are also very helpful and welcoming. We feel like at home !

Location here is excellent, facing the bay and the flamingos. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the big room upstairs with a balcony, also with views out to the water. Excellent breakfast here with white tablecloth. Need to check the pipe upstairs for sewer gas (maybe a one-off occurance), but that was a minor thing. Architecturally interesting, with the... More

Rooms are extremely comfortable and luxuriously decorated. Our room had a freestanding bath and incredible views of the lagoon from our terrace. The breakfast room was elegant and the variety of foods and attention to detail was astonishing. There is a beautiful courtyard with swimming pool and a lawn terrace from which to watch the sun set over the lagoon

Egumbo Lodge was by far one of the most unexpected and joyfull experience in our Namibian trip. It combines the interiors of a real english style cottage with true african architecture in an amazing scenario at ( litterally) two steps away from a natural lagoon full of flamingoes. The hospitality is extremely accurate and warm.

A perfect lodge on Millionaires Row overlooking the lagoon. Stayed here a few times now, and every time the arrangements are perfect as requested. Pool is a little on the chilly side, but a welcome break from the strong sun somedays. Stayed in a few of the rooms, but Warwick (no.1) is my favourite, and a good bottle of SA... More

I recently stayed for a week at this lodge on a bussiness trip to Walvis Bay. It is located in a very quiet, peaceful side of the lagoon and bay. There are great views of the lagoon from here. The guest house rooms are all large and spacious and neatly decorated. The beds are big and comfortable. The showers are great... More
