Although there were only two of us and we had not requested it, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded from a standard double-room reservation to the large, spacious two-bedroomed holiday flat on the first floor at no extra charge. Large lounge / dining area with television; with fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (with stocked fridge that also...

Whilst on a tour of Namibia a group of family visited Swakopmund in November 2016, we stayed at Swakopmund Gesthouse for 2 nights and had a peaceful and enjoyable stay. As 2 couples we stayed in rooms 6 + 11, which conveniently and opposite each other in a quite courtyard setting, outside seating was available and made a great place...

Lovely design, beautiful gardens and very stylish interiors. Had two night here and enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and tried to book dinner for us in some of the best restaurants int own but all were booked up on a Tuesday night in October. We managed to eat at the bar in a pub but if you do...

The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is good. It's within walking distance of the town centre. Highly recommended for a short visit to Swakopmund and handy for Walvis bay! Remember to back a fleece when you're coming to Swakopmund, it can get chilly!!!

We had a little apartment which was just perfect. Fabulous bath and shower. Clean, light and well appointed. Doesnt need air con, Swakopmund is cool by the ocean. Beach theme decor. Wifi can be slow but welcome after days in the desert.

Our room was modern, spacious and clean. The Swakopmund guest house owner and staff are genuinely friendly. The breakfast buffet was really well done. We used their Laundry service for a reasonable price. Nice service for clients coming from Sossusvlei and heading for Damaraland. What can be better? Just enough parking spots for the clients in the guest house And...

We were rather disappointed with our two-day stay here. On the positive side, the breakfast was good (although usual cheap juices containing little fruit) and the staff friendly enough. Negatives outweighed the positives however. The room (supposedly "luxury") was very basic in our view. Wifi was terrible, TV reception was so bad, it was impossible to watch any channel, noisy...

Ok place for a couple of nights but not especially comfortable, small rooms though nicely decorated. Breakfast ok - orange juice and coffee left a lot to be desired. Parking right outside with very friendly and helpful night guard. Receptionist very helpful in securing a table for dinner the first night - most places were booked out.

A shame as the hotel is a beautiful little boutique guesthouse however no sense of hospotality management. The rooms are small and cosy however no fan and no water offered, fan was missing, additionally when we wanted to freshen up there was no soap in the shower (at all). We asked for the wifi and the receptionist Erna was not...
