Four Danish golfers stayed in Dar Liouba for three nights and enjoyed the great hospitality and services from host Patricia and her staff. We arrived from Agadir by a transfer arranged by Patricia. Were picked up at our hotel in Agdir and Patricia had planned the trip to Essaouira along scenic routes and interesting small coastal towns of Morrocco. Great...

Made up our decision to stay at Dar Liouba on the base of TripAdvisor reviews. The only worrying one was the latest from fellow Canadian travellers. It was our 1st time in Swera and 1st time ever in Morocco so hoped for not too many problems/issues. When we arrived at Dar Liouba... I could see a similar pattern, we were...

When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely man who was obviously the chef and dogsbody. He is the only reason we don't rate service as terrible. We had to wait for the owner to arrive. She took us up to our room. NOT the one we had booked and paid for. Tiny and very sparsely furnished. Window opened...

I was so sad to read your comments, as our customers' satisfaction is our first concern. First of all, let me highlight that your reservation was done by an agency who did not inform you correctly about our property. Yes indeed, we have stairs which are not compatible with disable people like your husband after his stroke (something the agency...

After a 12 journey from Tangier, we were extremely happy to arrive at Dar Liouba. It was very easy to find from where the bus drops you from Marrakesh, near the Bab Marrakesh medina entrance. It is well located in the medina, down off the main roads, so nice and quiet, but close to many things. The medina is small...

Just finishing a 4 day stay in this delightful riad. We stayed in the Arganier room which was spacious and well lit. The staff are brilliant and cannot do enough for you, special mention would be for letifa who gave us a map with the riad on and the major landmarks that really helped us to make the most of...

Beautiful Riad in a great location in the Essaouria Medina. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff very accommodating and pleasant and the breakfast was delicious. The lobby is perfectly decorated. Would highly recommend Dar Liouba.

The riad is great and so is the breakfast. The location is pretty good aswell. The only problem was the final price: we booked it for 38 euro a night, but it didn't include the tax and with the currency change and the card comission, we finally ended up paying 100 euro for two nights. Quite disappointing.

Hi Manu, Just few words to remind you that both in our own website and in all the online travel agencies we use, it is clearly stated that the touristic taxes (paid by the customer to Dar Liouba but in fact paid to Essaouira municipality) will be added to the public rate, as most B&B in Morocco do. In addition,...

I spent six nights at Dar Liouba in June. I was originally booked to stay for three nights but enjoyed it so much I cancelled my other booking in the Essaouira area and returned to Dar Liouba. The riad is beautiful, on many levels (if you're not too mobile then it might not work for you) and the ground floor...

From the welcome by Patrica to the departure everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our long weekend here and will certainly return. The riad is easy to find even though it is right in the medina surrounded by local families who couldn't have been friendlier. The breakfast was good and the dinner tagging excellent.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dar Liouba is much more than a charming guesthouse, it is a place where you will feel at home. A house where conviviality, enchantment and an atmosphere of relaxation reign. The general atmosphere is laid back and cheerful, with a bright architecture.A pergola rises three floors from the interior courtyard of this former Imam’s house, culminating in an octagonal skylight. This intriguing structure provides each bedroom with a charming cedarwood balcony, hand carved by local craftsmen, overflowing with flowers, from which you look down into a small internal garden that is a specific feature of these town houses. ... more   less
