We stayed for three days and would have loved to stay longer! Britta will give you best advice on what to do and her tips are excellent. We loved the neighbourhood, the people and the wonderful beaches and blue skies to mention but a few... John and Christine

Riad Imik Imik made our stay in Essouira truly special. The place is beautiful, offering a true Moroccan feeling, and Britta, the owner, will make you feel so very welcome. She goes out of her way to let you know all the special places in this charming little town. A few of our nights there in March were chilly. Britta...

The owner was not there when we stayed, but the ladies who look after the place were quite helpful and accommodating (despite my terrible attempts at speaking French!). The breakfasts were also really very good, and the common areas of the riad are quite pretty. However, our room (the blue room above the front door) was damp, the bathroom smelled,...

Hello dear former guests, thank you for writing a review about your stay at my Riad Imik Imik. I also regret for not having been at the property when you stayed there, but it is not possible for me to be in Morocco 100 % of the year. Unfortunately I was abroad when you arrived, but as you have written...

Nestled at the end of a quiet street in the medina, each room in this spacious, beautifully-restored riad is both charming and comfortable, with a peaceful open kitchen/courtyard downstairs and a relaxing roof terrace. The owner Britta was incredibly kind and accommodating answering many questions over email in advance of our trip. Britta organised a taxi to meet us at...

Well situated within the Medina. Rooms are comfortable and Britta very welcoming. She gave us good tips on restaurants . Breakfast is on the terrace if weather fine and very relaxing. Everything within walking distance of the riad . A good place to stay and nicely decorated.

We stayed at Easter and I meant to write this review months ago (just looking for something else on tripadvisor has reminded me that it slipped my mind) Riad Imik Imik was a lovely place. Super clean and organised, and Britta made things pretty easy for us. We chose the riad because we wanted an adjoining room ideally for our...

Absolutely fantastic stay with Britta in her Riad in Essaouira! Britta was very welcoming of us into her home. She was there to meet us at the bus station (as me and my girlfriend had travelled from Marrakech) and guided us back to her Riad within the medina. The Riad is perfectly situated - not too close to the hustle...

Britta's Riad was a welcoming rest from having just spent a busy week travelling through Morocco's eastern provences, and towards the end of a five week holiday. We very much needed the downtime that Essaouira offered and Britta certainly facilitated this. Her recommendations for navigating through the medina and dealing with local shopkeepers was much appreciated. Britta happily directed us...

My partner and I stayed for three nights in riad Imik Imik, after a stay in Marrakesh and a trip through the desert. Britta, the owner of the riad, met us at the Marrakesh gate of the medina. The riad is only a two minute walk from the gate, and Essaouira's medina is a lot less complicated than the one...
