If you miss staying here when in town, you're missing a lot. Great staff, free pool table, free international sports on the telly, quality chilled music during the day, friendly staff, very central location, good value, laid back atmosphere, comfortable rooms, several showers on every floor, beautiful views of the sea up top, lovely staff, really nice decor, free Wi-Fi,...

Right in the heart of the medina. Clean comfortable room. If you are keen to socialise with other travellers and not lock yourself away this is the place for you. Good base for exploring the town. Great terrace and common areas. Nearby food outlets and good shopping.

Ben, the owner is wonderful. He is very friendly and happy to help. Unfortunately the two girls working in the hostel are absolutely miserable. From the moment we walked in they were extremely unfriendly, never smiled, never even said Hi. We have stayed in hostels all over the world and we found the staff besides Ben to be the unfriendliest...

Yeah yeah just attack all of us and tell lies. This is the place to do it and I do not care. There will be no staffing change as they are great and this little campaign is outrageous but part of the nature of things and the days when it might have changed anything in reality are gone as I...

Awful place and poor view of a true hostel business meaning. Smelly, moldy, bad beds and sofas, dirty showers and not a good atmosphere to enjoy with others travellers. Ben, the owner, rude and childish, and his mother, who live there, don´t care about other people but themselves, creating a false english pub atmosphere, with very loud music and a...

This person has decided to attack us (me the manager mainly) because of one reason only: He made us shut down our system as he dossed around on the setee all day by blaring music from his personal computer. I decided that it is not regular for guests to take over the entertainment system and basically decided to do a...

I could try describe my experience here; the hilarious nights, the crazy characters, the laid back feel, the excellent music. But words seem to diminish it in my mind. All I can say is, what sort of person are you? Are you a fussy person? Does your shower have to the right temperature? Does your bed need to be soft...

You were here during 'the birthday party'. Quite a big night yes! I will say thank you for the review though I am not sure it is quite fair and it sounds really wild or something! We are a place that can be many things to many people and depending on the kind of guests we can have a good...

Amid the plethora of mundane, repetitive hostel experiences, my stay at Dar El Pacha was different for all the right reasons. Ben and Jean are proud of their hostel (as they should be!) having started from scratch to create a social space resplendent in appearance and full of heart, soul and identity. Excellent facilities are a given (free wifi and...

Very laid back environment where you can just be yourself. The two girls hosting were friendly, funny, and surprisingly good at pool. Honestly could've spent an eternity there just sitting and talking and chilling with all the fascinating characters. If you wish you'd been born in the 60s, don't. Just come to hotel Dal el Pasha

Nice one. Yes the girls are also being trained on the pool table. Nobody represents me without being able to pot a few balls!

The room itself was nice and well worth the low price. Their workers were 2 young girls who were a little unwelcoming and obnoxious. The bathrooms had floor to ceiling fungus. It's worth the cheap price if you can deal with this. Jean and Ben the owners were lovely.

Thanks for taking the time to review and now I will attempt to turn your seemingly bad review into a good one with just a little bit of extra info. The green around the tiles in the showers is a cleaning product that took Jean a very long time and a lot of hard work to do. If we had...

Suitable for all psychology students. Low budget travelers may find bed, shower and on top of that pool table with TV and lovely lounge besides hostel has amazing views from the roof. Manager was trying to be nice to us yet we did not feel welcome, the spirit of the hostel is missing.
