Dar Latigeo is a small B&B run by Georges and his wife Latifa. We were treated with great courtesy and friendliness. Breakfast was plentiful and served (if we wished) on the roof terrace - we were lucky to have beautiful weather all week. The rooms are cleaned daily and kept spotless. The house is right in the middle of the...

We were welcomed by the owner, which gave us a very useful map and showed us places to visit and the best places to eat in Essaouira. The room was very very comfy, and although we had to go down some steps to a small bathroom, it was no problem at all. Water pressure is excellent on the shower and...

Charming small dar/riad in the Medina of Essaouira. I had the only room with a private bathroom, which was accessed via a stone spiral staircase, and was tiny and just-about functional. But the bedroom was fine, with one of the comfiest beds I've experienced in Essaouira. Breakfast was typically French/Moroccan, and would have benefitted from some eggs, but was fine....

This hotel is in the perfect location. Right in the middle of the medina. Close to the beach and supratours bus station. It is hard to find but as others have said look for bobs music and it's down the end of that lane. However it's not clear which door is theirs. It's the black door with the caging. Just...

The riad is in a good location down an alleyway within Essaouira's medina. The hosts were very friendly and happy to give recommendations about attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. It was particularly nice having a special dish cooked freshly each day to compliment the standard breads, juice, coffee etc. Each day we ate a communal table and...

The owners of the Dar Latigeo are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The rooms are beautifully, traditionally furnished, quiet and clean. In the evening, other guests often gather downstairs, share experiences of Morocco and their own lives, which is very interesting. The Dar is situated in the Medina, so that you can experience true Moroccan life first-hand....

We spent a couple of nights a Dar Latigeo. The place offers what you may expect for the price: a good breakfast (which can be taken at the upper terrace or in the lower flor on a shared table), clean rooms and a helpful owner who made some interesting recommendations for dinner and different day trips. However, we had a...

Me and my friend stayed at Latigeo for 2 nights in October, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived they had the room all made up and ready for us, even though it was before check in time. Service was great- George you are great and a good laugh! The breakfast was by far the best we've had in...
