Went there with my husband and 2 kids for one night stay in Nov 2012. Room is very spacious and clean with super king size bed, two love couches but the toiletries is a bit limited. Service while checking in & in the restaurant is poor if the hotel is targetting to be a five star hotel. Food during high...

This hotel is quite a distance from the Kuala Terengganu town centre. It should not be a problem if it is a real self-contained resort where one does not need to venture out of the "resort" to get what you need. Yes, you can actually take a 10-minute boat ride to Pasar Payang which is just across the lagoon from...

My last stay was in Okt 2012 with my husband and son. We had stayed there a couple of times this year, mainly due to its location which is a way from busy area and nice garden view. Quite isolated (that's the reason for our stay) and wouldn't be a problem as we had our own transport. I would agree...

My husband and I stayed here for our 1st anniversary celebration in December last year and once again earlier this year, to meet up a couple of our friends in KT for the weekend. To be honest, I wished I had not set my expectations very high (it was high maybe because one of the staffs kept on mentioning that...

plus mosquitos. staff are nice but the hotel is just too old. breakfast is not very excited. restaurant is next to shore with terrific view. Ya, the best place to dine in town. mosquitos is always the problem while choosing a hotel in Malaysia. A room on the first floor and surrounds with trees and bushes is a guarantee to...

Customer service is quite poor particularly at the reception. Riyaz is losing its beauty due to poor maintenance - toilet's condition is poor. Need a long walk from you chalet to reception. Make sure you are ready for this. (riyaz car-buggy system is not efficient) Not a 5 star standard. Need to lower your expectation. Food is very good tho

Thanks to MBF card, that we were able to get a great deal to stay in Ri-Yaz Heritage Resort and Spa for a very low price. It has been almost 5 years since I left Kuala Terengganu after I've been graduated from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. My husband and I knew about this resort, however we never came here and have...

We where in Kuala Terengganu for a couple of nights as a stopover before going to Redang Island. Wanted a place to chill out after a long (and so far lovely) journey through Malaysia. The place had mixed reviews, but looked like to best option. Only alternatives are a few large dreary looking business hotels in the city centre. At...

We stayed just one night as the hotel close to the airport for the early flight to KL. The hotel is quite strange really with an enornmous central building that looks a bit like an airship hangar but then with lots of two story villas (4 rooms in each) dotted around the garden. The rooms have plenty of room and...
