My family and I were there on a weekend of a school holiday. There were very few people around. Probably due to it's location. But I think it must be bustling during the Monsoon Cup, which would probably be how they managed to keep going. Room is huge, and the balcony was welcoming. This hotel has beautiful premises and rooms. Clean, very spacious. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is composed mostly from asian food, very little choice for international visitors. Almost no fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff speaks almost no English and cannot provide information about trips or outside activities. Very quiet and peaceful, nature-oriented, the hotel units are made of premium teak and timber hence the traditional classy feel. The sound system from the CD player in the room is beyond superb, so don't forget to bring along your favourite album. Good place,nice view,very clean..Everything was in order except the poor room service (the staff forget to provide the towel ),,,,have to use our own towel .. need to improved on the room services facilities.

We checked into the hotel during the recent Labour Day weekend. A potentially wonderful looking resort, however in need of major upgrading works. To name a few:- a. The hotel as per Mr Google mentioned this is a 5star resort. Much to my expectation, the staffs were not friendly and knowledgeable. They acted as ' couldn't be bothered attitude and you should not expect a smile from them coz they wont even greed you. A 5 star resort with NO in room safe deposite box and bad connection...

No greeting from front line. No smile on the face ...seems like not welcome any guest Asked for half payment...what the hack...I using my visa card. Took longer time to check in...only me myself is around... It is not 5 star....it could be one star..

We arrived on an early flight on 29 Dec 2015 from Kuala Lumpur and reached the hotel at about 10am. We have booked 3 rooms for 2 nights stay. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were denied an early check-in despite the availability of many rooms. In fact the place was deserted after the event of the monsoon cup....

Duyong Marina and Resort Terengganu This is a quiet hotel in very pretty location.
