This restaurant has an amazing crew. It is wholly Malaysians. If you expect dainty geisha like service you will be disappointed. It was filled with warmth, hospitality and the desire to please. We have been here umpteenth times. The food has always been good. Knowing that it was our wedding anniversary, we were pampered like there was no end. michelle Irene Najmi Thank you

Been coming here many times since the re-opening on 24th November 2021. Many times on December 2021 and January 2022. So what’s my take? Front Desk 1. Friendly, accommodative, and attentive. Paya Serai 1. Here is the avenue that truly shines and make you want to come back all the time. 2. Their host were amazing: be it Rossi, Jenny Ong, Mus, Shahrul, and Shaz. 3. Their Chefs were awesome: Chef Ridzuan (Exec Chef), Chef Zaidi and their kitchen team. 4. Super accommodative, friendly, and they do go the extra mile. 5. Thanks to Chef Ridzuan who accommodate a custom Malay menu which was super delicious. He surprises you always. Rooms 1. Room layout were decent size; just the fittings and interior start to feel bit dated. 2. Room were clean. 3. Good size bath: separate shower and tub (be it Suite, or Exec Room). House Keeping 1. House keeping team were friendly and attentive. Kudos! Suggestions I do hope Hilton PJ operate back their Executive Lounge. Surely this avenue will attract back many business people. Or alternatively if they insist in closing the Lounge for now: they can try like other hotel do: which is let the guest have their free flow of coffee during the day till eve (eg 12pm to 8pm daily) at Coffee House by mentioning room number to verify status. And the eve cocktail or aperitif can be served at the coffee house itself or Cino Café. Would recommend slight improvement to the aperitif bites (the food portion and choices). The taste is already good: trust me. Finally, I also recommend the management do some staff re-training (especially on your front desk team) as primary contact point: kind of hit and miss at time. Also, best to know or learn on your repeat guest. Some tweak here and there to the hospitality: this place can get back on tract and compete with surrounding hotel brand. Call me if you guys need help in this area. Kudos to the team: keep it up! They really know how to take care of you and makes you feel welcome and cozy always.

Me and my friend had x-mas eve dinner at paya serai. The buffet was really great with a fantastic selection of food. Service was good and we really enjoyed the food especially the Braised bbq short rib, it taste excellent and melted in our mouth!!! Every year without fail PJH gives a very good experience and memories to celebrate x-mas. But its sad to know that this year, in times where the staff and the hotel was very busy all of the big bosses on holiday, the staffs mumble. Hahaha

Kuching, Malaysia431 contributions162 helpful votes
I stayed 1 night at Hilton Petaling Jaya for a family occasion. I had flown in from Kuching and my flight was delayed. I arrived at the hotel past midnight but had already checked in on the Hilton App. Although I arrived quite late, everything was ready by the time I got to reception and I was in my room in no time. I booked a Deluxe King room and the room was spacious. I believe the hotel was newly renovated so the room itself looked refreshed with up to date furnishings. The bathroom was also big with separate shower and tub. By the time I settled down it was close to 1am when decided to order some room service. I ordered spaghetti and mushroom soup which arrived in no time. Despite the late hour, the room service was delicious. Next morning I had breakfast before checking out. Breakfast was good and service excellent. My order was delivered quickly. My only complaint is under Covid SOP, the hotel did serve a buffet breakfast but everything was delivered to my table. I much prefer a breakfast buffet spread rather being served as I miss the salad station of a buffet and the muesli/cereal station. Overall my stay at Hilton Petaling Jaya was good as can be expected from a Hilton property. The newly renovated room was most comfortable and the team’s service from reception to the F&B service was excellent. Well done!
