I had the pleasure of being taken on a day tour to Semenghoh Orang Utan park with Saloma and then to be taken by her to explore her home area with a village walk, a delicious lunch at her homestay and a short trek to the local village waterfall. Saloma's day job is running tailored village homestay programs for 2...

Saloma's warmth and attention will make you feel at home. Her home will be your home. My room was on the second floor with an additional open sitting room filled with comfortable sitting, hammocks and refrigerator overlooking the treetops, river and village. Saloma's attention to provide me with outstanding experiences was extraordinary. Saloma arranged a day trek to a remote...

Saloma's Villagestay is one of a kind. I and my 2 girls went with my friend and her 4 children and had an experience of a lifetime. You stay in Saloma’s home that is extremely homely and clean. It sits in the trees that makes it seem to come out of your childhood dreams. To add to these magnificent dreams,...

Such an amazing experience to see how the locals live and to get in contact with them! We have been there for 3 days. Saloma and her family are welcoming people and we had such a great time with them. Nightwalk, local food specialities, jungle hiking to the waterfall, jungle trip to the farm and bamboo cooking, village tour, simply...

Hereby would like to thank Saloma, Saloma's papa and family for the sweet and unforgettable amazing hospitality. The healthy exotic home cook food, the hiking to the farm, and hiking to waterfall were amazing. I really enjoy the time spend in the farm (though is not an easy hike for me) but the journey to the farm, Saloma is really...

We’ve been prepped for the worst, no power, cold water, basic facilities but the reality turns out to be much, much better. A picturesque open sided house built in the forest, with power but more than adequate facilities although no hot water which is in any case not really needed. An afternoon visit to a local village is a fascinating...

Five of us stayed for one night at Saloma's place. It was a great experience, we enjoyed the greenery, the waterfalls and local Bidayuh food cooked by Saloma. Basic amenities available, clean toilet and bathroom, fresh water from the mountain, but don't expect any telco coverage. You wouldn't find one. It was very relaxing, and a short hike to Mabi...

Wonderful to stay at Salomas family home; see how the villagers live. Food very good and very different, bamboo cooking with mum wonderful. Our Son aged 6 adored the place as 2 very friendly dogs Abd kittens. She can arrange trios for you; we especially loved the kayaking trip with Beko, would have done caving climbing with him if not...

Our stay in Sadir village at Saloma's home stay was something so awesome, that we could'n ever imagine. It was the end of the rain season, so we were the only guests. We had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed by the hole family. We met the villagers, visited family's fields, walked in the jungle, we were swimming under...
