We stayed one night during the March school holidays. Occupancy was high... we booked the Baruk Suite and got the best room which is just right next to the hilltop pool. The suite has downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs is open air mini kitchenette (basically a sink with counter tops), also has a small dining table with two chairs and a...

We were in Kuching for a wedding and booked the Damai on the recommendation of the bride. This was our first trip to this part of the world and we had booked a Baruk on the hilltop after reading reviews on this site. We had the holiday of a lifetime here. We could not fault any part of the Damai...

We absolutely love this resort and always stay in the Hill top area in one of the Sea View deluxe rooms which have the very best views over the entire resort and ocean area. The rooms are perfect with plenty of room and a great balcony area. There is also a beautiful swimming pool / waterfall area close by and...

Booked Damai Beach Resort at last minute for a rather unplanned short trip. I've not been to Kuching before (shame on me) - so decided to leave KL for a 3 nights vacation and after consideration, picked up this resort due to the location. Location-wise, its perfect for me. Away from the city, tucked on a secluded beach with mountain...

Next is the airconditioning.Very...

After reading all the reviews in different websites, I didn't think I was that unlucky but I was wrong! I thought the resort will be more thoughtful in allocating rooms for 3 nights stay but again I was wrong. Due to the Lunar Chinese New Year, there were lots of local staying there as well due to the limited beach...

It's an old resort, but generally well maintained. It's time to replace the mattresses. The restaurant food and price are reasonable. I like the breakfast buffet. It's a nice place for a short getaway for family or couples.

I grew up in Kuching so I frequent this resort since a long time ago. Not visiting this place for so many years after moving to Kuala Lumpur; I was in awe that being back here, the resort was as beautiful as what I remembered it by and maybe more. It looked like a 4-5 stars resort. We stayed in...

Was given a 1 night stay voucher for here by a friend who couldn't use it, it was for a room in the Baruk Suite (not something I could usually afford). The room was lovely and very spacious with a superb view over the ocean. There was a shuttle bus to take you too and from reception/cafés/beach etc as the...

The resort was nicely maintained & rather clean. Cafe Satang staff was friendly & accomodating. However, check in rather slow - took about 5 - 8 mins per customer - maybe it was due to the CNY season. You will need to step on big rocks and stones before going down to the beach. If you wish to have dinner,...
