I spent a weekend in Kuching and had a great time at the Batik Boutique Hotel. My room was comfortable and spacious with a wonderful bath tub! The hotel is conveniently located within the city. But the best part of my stay was the wonderful staff. They welcomed me as a friend, helping me arrange sightseeing, personally showing me around...

We spent only two nights in this cosy hotel and felt very welcomed. It is strategically located in the city area and our room was quiet and the comfortable bed provided peaceful rest after a long day. The room was spacious and carefully equipped with care. The hotel had just upgraded their wifi so it was very fast although it...

If you're looking for a place which fits the criteria above there's no better place in Kuching than the Batik Boutique. I really don't want to hype it too much because it's a small establishment and I may never be able to book to stay there again. Jackie and her staff embody the spirit of Sarawakian hospitality. Take time to...

At one time, this conveniently located and charming hotel had everything going for it. The owner invested a lot on good design, training her staff in customer care and establishing a fair degree of luxury. When boutique hotels were not commonplace and people's expectations were less demanding, Batik Boutique must have shone like a jewel in the city's lacklustre crown....

I came in August for business trip and stayed for 2 nights in Batik Boutique Hotel. The location is good, it's near to the attractions of Kuching, about 5 minutes walking distance to the Waterfront and eateries. Located at heart of Kuching, you don't have to worry about the food. For breakfast, they served Western style breakfast, therefore if you...

We stayed here for about 5 nights on and off whilst travelling around Sarawak and what makes this place so special is the friendly, helpful staff. They helped me in all aspects from booking trips to running us around and storing our bags. They were great! The rooms are fine and the beds comfy. The breakfast and bar choices could...

Amazing experience. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The cute boutique hotel is perfect for talking with the staff or meeting other guests. The lobby includes a friendly bar, and the breakfast is delicious -- homemade banana french toast! I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience, especially as a solo traveler. If you're going to Kuching,...

We spent a few nights in this nice boutique hotel during our trip in Sarawak. Since we entered the hotel for the first time, the staff made us feel welcome and relaxed after the long travel. They offered us typical rice wine and chocolate cake and even provided a special bag for the Rainforest Festival, containing rain ponchos, napkins, mosquito...
