The staff, food and rooms here are all fantastic. I stayed there for a number of nights over a 2 month period and every time I returned it felt like I was arriving back to a home away from home. The staff were always very welcoming and I can not say enough good things about the food here. The rooms...

Basaga is a little tucked away corner of heaven! On main road that is walking distance to Spring Mall and only a short way to downtown, this place is shockingly quiet and incredibly beautiful. The lovely little pool is a great way to cool down in the heat, and the giant trees shade even the most scorching sun out. The...

I stayed for 3 nights in this little gem! Such a pretty little old colonial type house, with hardwood floors and beautiful furniture, doors and windows. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast and wifi. I found the pool also very refreshing as it is very muggy in Kuching. It is outside of the city centre but the hotel has a shuttle...

We were downstairs to start with, the room was basic but nice and clean. The rooms upstairs were still basic but I think had had a bit of a facelift and...

Recently stayed at the Basaga hotel for a stop over on our tour to Matang wildlife park. Clean cosy rooms over looking a small swimming pool. Situated in lovely gardens and had beautiful lanterns at night. Good menu of English and Malaysian food . Would stay here again !

I arrived here as a lone traveller as part of a Great Projects tour. I had a lovely room (number 29) in the main house. It was spacious and had it's own balcony. Our tour meant that we had 3 nights here at the start, middle and end of our 2 week tour and each room I had was good....

Its in the outskirts of town. Ample parking space if you are driving. Unfortunately do get caught in the traffic when you are going in and out of the Residences. The ladies at the reception are awesome, unfortunately I cant say much abt the service staff at the restaurant. More staff must be assigned during lunch or breakfast hours too ..not...

My wife and I along with our infant son checked out today. After a life of hostels and cheap guest houses, this was my first travel experience to actually stay in a decent place for the duration of a trip. We stayed there 4 out of 5 days we were in Kuching in two different rooms. We booked our flights...

We stayed at the hotel in early September as part of a tour of the Malayan Archipelago. On the third day of our stay I slipped on a track at the Semenggoh Orangutan Sanctuary and broke my ankle.I was operated on and spent the night in hospital. In the meantime my husband had to organize all the documentation to travel...
