Apart from the breakfast, everything really excited us. The people running the place, the vibe and the great price for the quality. In my opinion the place and location to be if you're hanging out in Kuching.

We moved here after a few days at the Citidines, as we wanted to be closer to city and we're delighted we made the move. The Waterfront Lodge is within walking distance of shops, bars & restaurants and has a very chilled easygoing vibe. The accommodation is rather basic but, each room has its own bathroom & AC and the...

We moved to this hotel after a few nights at a noisy hostel and it was nice to have a quieter experience. We negotiated a walk-in discount for a double room at the door and have to say that if I had payed full price I would have been a bit disappointed. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms which are...

We stumbled onto this lodge while taking a stroll along Main Bazaar. Curiosity did not kill the cat but we changed our accommodation straight away fr Wo Jia Lodge to Kuching Waterfront Lodge immediately! Took an ensuite 3-bedded room (#102) located at ground floor. It was perfect, w lots of natural light and located at the back (i.e. quiet &...

Right on the waterfront with Chinatown a block away, oodles of shops and cafes on the doorstep and tours, museums etc all within easy walking distance, this comfortable hostel was our home for a week. Our room was adequate, a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, TV and WiFi; the bathroom had a shower over the toilet, and in some rooms...

We stayed here for two nights and we were warmly greeted by the lady on the desk. The room was small but clean and had all we needed. The people on the desk (there were three during our time there) were very helpful and friendly regardless of the time of day. They advised us on how to get to Semegoggh...

Lovely staff and good clean rooms make this a really good value place. The old shophouse lobby is charming and the place retains the old world feel throughout. Was given a discount without asking for it and was looked after very well by all the staff.

The room was very small and there was no closet so you must put your luggage on the floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good, near the boardwalk. Dont forget to recive a passwsord for the wifi, which was very good.

The Kuching Waterfront Hotel is a great place to stay. It is an airy old shop house on the Main Bazaar in the heart of Kuching's old shopping street and on the Sarawak River waterfront. The building is traditionally decorated, with lots of wood and rustic furniture. For all of its rustic charm, the rooms are well appointed: free WiFi,...

I love this B&B for the following reasons: 1) Great location. 2) Great value for money (I noticed some comments about weird furniture or damp room. Well. If "good looking" furniture is what you are looking for, maybe you can try Hilton, at least three times the price). 3) The room I got was VERY charming. My window overlooks the...
