It is a suite room but unfortunately is a smoking room and beside a staff elevator which is making an irritating buzzing sound. The door also was not working well i.e. very hard to open and close the door knob properly. Other than that it was fine. I don't mind coming again but I hope it will be better than...

I had the pleasure of staying here for a week. The staff was really top notch, especially in the restaurants, and Executive Lounge. Dev was a superstar in the lounge every night. The morning breakfast in the restaurant is quite large and varied. Many asian specialties. I did find the omelets a bit plain. Excellent fruit and thinly sliced beef....

I spent a few days at this Hyatt after a 40 hour journey from the States and before going off to do volunteer work in the rainforest. Perfect place for me to start my trip. My room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Yes, the hotel could use some updates, but I found it clean and the staff...

This hotel has character. It has history and it has a wonderful service that exemplify the friendliness and the welcoming spirit of the people of KK. I reached KK late into the evening around 10.30pm. I just got in from Kuching having experienced a really bad hotel in Pullman Kuching. Hyatt Regency was the extreme polar opposite of Pullman in...

I chose to stay at the Hyatt whilst on an overnight visit to KK en route to Jakarta. Dear sir, Thank you for your personal feedback regarding your stay. We are disappointed to hear that we were not able to meet your expectations in certain areas. The staff at this establishment more than make up for any tired furnishings encountered. We were treated like family every step of the way from check-in to check out. Excellent, breakfast, clean room, wonderful evening cocktail lounge. Cushions at pool are tired and some furnishings are tired but overall this is an oasis in the city.

We had a nice stay when having a long(er) layover in Kota Kinabalu. I was with two young children who enjoyed the pool and who appreciated it was still open later at night (as we arrived late). The room was large and the two separate beds where sufficient in size and comfortable.
