The staff was correct, the hotel facilities functional and the room clean and basic. The location is great, next to an amazing italian restaurant and shopping area. Wisma Sabah is just in front and all the dive operators main offices are around that area, which is good to help you planing where to hop next, Seaventures Dive Rig and others...

I stayed here for a night, as I just came back from an island and leaving the next day. The price is moderate, but since I insisted to stay in a hotel with attached bathroom so I guess this one is pretty suit my budget. I got single room for Rm68 (Rm73 after taxes). At first, I didn't expect really...

A lonely planet guide had highly recommended this place, so we have it a go, luckily only booking one night. For a start it's overly priced, considering no free breakfast and basic accommodation. Then sadly the first room we were given had mouse droppings under the pillow though great wifi). Not ideal. So we were given a new room. This...

We stayed here for a week and we got bed bug bites all over us. I wouldnt recommend this place for anyone. They didnt take responsibility for having rooms with bugs in them. The wifi is terrible. It is a budget hotel but it is not worth it!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

We initially found this hotel in the lonely planet and took it as a reference for the area location. When we finally arrived in Kota Kinabalu, we took a bus (5 RN) and it left us 2 blocks away, next to the horizon hotel; then we check other budget hotels but non of them up to our cleaning standard. Finally...

Pros: very friendly staff, well located, cheap, private toilet with hot water, aircon, wifi in all rooms Cons: Not very clean, very small room Is an average budget hotel, you get what you paid for, but for a few dollars you can have a bigger room.

Although the staff is not really super-friendly, this was the best hotel I found in KK for the price. They have an elevator, which is great if you have luggage, the bed is comfortable. The wi-fi connection was slow, the bathroom was functional, everything was clean. However, we could hear the door of the elevator each time it opened or...

Nice, clean, friendly, helpful, well-organized and cheap price for a budget hotel. If you were planning visiting Suria Sabah and Wisma Merdeka this hotel is one of the best place to be stayed at. Near to the massage centre, offering a tour package as well for those who want to take the opportunities to go for a journey in Borneo...

Stayed for two nights. Great location as everything (shopping, food, laundry, markets) is within walking distance. Attentive staff. The only problem we had with it is no wi-fi. Good enough for travelers who go out during the day and only come back to rest at night.
