Clean, comfortable, modern, friendly staff, great breakfast. Variety of room sizes available. Good location within walking distance from main city attractions. A great place to stay in combination with a trek up Mt Kinabalu

A great little hostel. Could be a little bit hard to find but not far from KK center at all. The common area is nice and we had a great private room for an awesome value. Stay here for value, cleanliness and a nice hangout!

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel for several reasons: + very friendly and helpful staff + lockers provided inside the dorms + clean bed rooms and bathrooms + 2 computers for free internet access + free breakfast (toast, cookies, bananas, cornflakes) + good location: 2-5 mins to the markets and malls + aircon What I did not like about... I stayed here on the 15th Jan and also the 27th Jan. I had wanted to book for the 28th as well but they had been booked out over a month and a half in advance! Such a shame cause I really enjoyed my time here. The dorm itself was great. Spacious, with compartments for your luggage, dividers between the... More

This hostel is close to bus stations, we can connect to other places easily (including to & from airport). Located exactly in the city centre of KK, it is near to shopping centre, night markets (Sinsuran & Gaya Sunday Market), plus eating places, are everywhere (sea foods in KK are very cheap). Philippine Market is also close by; it can... More

Masada Backpacker offers a simple yet clean, convenient and cozy place to stay when in KK. I had booked a bed from a three-bed female "dormitory", but really, there was nothing dormitory-like about the room. The room was quiet, beds were comfortable, a/c worked fine, you get your own locker for valuables and the housekeeper comes every day to tidy... More

This place is small and cozy, feels like at home. They have very convenient location close to long-haul bus station direction Ranau/Sepilok and Kinabalu park, the city centre and night market are also close by. They have free breakfast and free wi-fi which is fast. The interior is clean, the restrooms and shower stalls with hot water are shared but... More

Nice breakky which included cereal and fresh fruit. The beds were comfy and wifi connection was pretty good.
