For the price this is good value, great locations and supermarket opposite in mall. Breakfast average but street options everywhere.Amusing comment re.chinese tour group, well if you travel Asia, you will know Chinese groups everywhere and they are friendly, if at times a bit noisy.WiFi slow but in fairness it's a national problem ,for the govt. to fix.

Check in was fast. Room clean and beds comfortable. However, the carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced as it was rather worn out. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything. Overall good hotel. Will stay again.

The room was ok, bed comfortable and linen clean but generally tired and nothing special and the shower definitely needs an upgrade, broken tiles and dirty grouting. The location is good, close to a large shopping mall and walking distance to jetty and waterfront. The breakfast had a good selection of Asian/ Chinese food but very little western . The...

The hotel location is just few steps from Suria Sabah Shopping Mall and near to Gaya Street Sunday Market. It is very recommended to take a walk on the pedestrian sidewalk near to the sea during morning or evening time! It will be great if they could vary breakfast menu as the menu seems the same for each day during...

Everything about Gaya Centre Hotel is average. Service, cleanliness, maintenance are average. Food at the breakfast room is really quite poor, but at least, I didn't fall sick from it. The bar downstairs was pitiful -- poor selection of drinks and the entertainment, well... perhaps playing CD's would be better. So I would have been very disappointed with my stay,...

Nice hotel with helpful friendly staff. Small cozy lounge to relax after a long and shopping trip around Kota Kinabalu with nearest complex, Suria Sabah. Comfy rooms. I have been staying here numerous time because of the location ...where it is cheap and affordable and city Center.

Staying at this hotel for 2 nights...the room and the toilet quite old.. but this hotel is quite good location because it's nearby the shopping malls, Jesselton point, Gaya streets, and restaurants..also the staff service is very good.. 👍🏻
