The location of the hotel is at the city center. It is very near 3 major malls and the Waterfront. Souvenir shops are all around and there lots of eateries to choose from. The room is relatively small but quite clean. Shower and faucets are working well. The hotel provides free water and toiletries. The only problem I encountered is...

Rooms are generally great. Cozy and nice sleeping quality. Nearby to most KK city attractions- Philippino Markets, night market, shopping center, fresh markets all within walking distance. Wifi service is very good. Using the service to post this review at the moment. The hot shower doesnt seem to be hot tho.. Probably the heater is broken? Room A205.

As we are out for other sightseeing or activities until evening, the hotel is just nice for resting. Very convenient location, easily accessible. Must try the seafood restaurant downstairs, delicious and affordable.

I only stayed for a night in this hotel, but it was filthy and it had cockroaches in the bathroom. I had the intention to have a shower there, but I changed my mind. The air conditioner was not working properly. The only good point could be the wifi connection. But I am not staying here never again.

The good: Central location just walking distance from restaurants, shopping & night life. There's also a 7-Eleven downstairs. The bad: Upon check-in, our room key cards didn't work and we waited about half an hour for reception to reprogram the key cards. Breakfast starts too late, especially on the weekends. Doors to each hotel room are very close to each...

Great location. The next door disco is on all night. Luckily only stay for one night. There is nothing can be done about the noise. There is no other rooms to move to. When complaint, the staff pretends they do not understand.

I stayed for four nights. I felt like I stayed in a budget hotel but paid more than a normal budget hotel's price. Probably the only good thing in my experience that the hotel was excellently located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu and the friendliness of the staffs. The room was pretty small, too small for the price paid....

Some rooms are not very appealing. Further the fact that it is fight beside a busy street means that you have to put up with noisiness till a bit late at night. Perhaps the B block would be better as it is away from the main road. While breakfast is provided one has to walk a bit to reach the...

We stayed two nights at the Celyn Hotel in Kota Kinabalu. The hotel is located in the Warisan Square which is very central to a lot of places in Kota Kinabalu. The night life, waterfront and wet markets are all a five minute walk away. In fact when it comes to food you're in the right spot, from the quick...
