We stayed there for 3 nights from 29.12 - 1.1.14. Pros Location - Excellent as it's located within Georgetown Unesco and there are plenty of malls, good food nearby. Nasi Kandar, Chendol, Assam laksa, Fried Kway Teow etc... Hotel - Clean and simple. Only accommodation purpose. There's no restaurant, drink menu and laundry services as there are many located within...

It looks really great when you walk in. A very plush lobby and wide corridors, all with large shiny white tiles. But the rooms are not so flash. Our room was very small (see my photos), but I think many of the other rooms may be larger, but look out onto a wall. The only furniture in the room other...

Chulia calls itself a Hotel? This is a complete joke! It is nothing more than a Hostel. The noise level here is incessant! We are staying on the ground floor, with the reception desk outside our bedroom door! As you can imagine the nose is non stop! The floor boards to the upstairs level are timber, meaning that ever time...

Clean white room...I stayed in rm105...wifi signal was good but as its a heritage house due to its design...the light from the corridor outside can be seen inside the room but no big deal...rain shower head's water pressure was good...but "elephants" footsteps can be heard from guest's footsteps above...overall value for $$ stay...

1) The Management MUST install the lighted sign to show where is the hotel. 2) Find a way to strenghtened the flooring coz it is really bad. The footsteps are loud even if it is just walking. The staffs even admited that a lot of patrons complained 3) Put an aircon at the reception and use air curtains. The exhaust...

We were traveling round South East Asia for a few weeks and thought we would spoil our self staying in this Hotel. I really did not like staying here, its all a bit fake, no breakfast on offer for the price which is a bit over priced for this hotel. It was very clean but the toilets are VERY cramped,...

When I first checked in I was happy with this heritage hotel. Set in an old English building with a glitzy lobby, I thought I was in for a nice stay. My room, a standard double on the ground floor, was spacious and bright with good air con, a tv and minifrige. The best was huge and comfortable. But...the noise...
