This is a late review which I shall post on 25th June after I checked out from the hostel. For my friends and I, this was a very pleasant place to stay, and in order to manifest the friendliness and helpfulness of the hostel owner, I would like to share a little experience which we encountered there, namely the 3...

We stayed for three nights in a private double room with shared bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable, spacious, and the air con worked well. There is a corridor of four or five private rooms on the ground floor, and our room was closest to the communal area which meant it could be a little noisy in the morning...

Room: Clean and comfortable, with lockers for each person (no locks provided so get your own) Toilet: A couple of the soap dispensers were either broken or empty. Water doesn't flow down the drain so you end up standing in a pool of your shower water after a few minutes. unpleasant when you think of all the other yucky stuff...

I only stayed one night at Ryokan due to my schedule, so I'm not able to comment on certain things like food. Generally, it was nice and quiet, good for me as I slept earlier due to my early start the following day for a work meeting. Though it was short, I can say for certain that the staff are...

I stayed in the dorm. It was super clean and comfortable. You have your own plug to charge and lights beside your bed. Blanket and towel fresh and clean. The design of the hotel is nice. Common toilet clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and I will stay there again.

The Ryokan was overall a great hostel! The location is excellent in Georgetown-- very close to all of the typical things you'll want to see in Penang. It has a cool atmosphere and nice vibe with good facilities-- outdoor seating area, indoor beanbags for hanging out and reading, nice showers and bathrooms-- and everywhere was clean and well-maintained. Included breakfast...

Stayed for 4 days recently . I think for the money I paid, it's definitely a worthwhile stay, esp since there's a decent breakfast included. It's still as clean, neat, modern and friendly as I remembered it. Unfortunately it is a little rundown compared to 3 years ago when I was there. But nothing a little paint job can't fix,...

All the things in this guesthouse is beyond expectation. Clean room, great breakfast and environment. But the only thing i don't like is the flooring, where you can feel people walking from the walkaway. Still very good experience, will definitely come back again.

This is a subtle, little boutique hostel. We had the single, standard room. It's tiny but clean, neat and quiet. The location is super as it's very close to a lot of interesting eateries, street art. Use the map for the Street Art. There's a free CAT bus service that does its round to Komtar and the Ferry Terminal. It...
