We stayed at this hotel on the eve of the Chinese New Year, choosing a beach location near Kuala Lumpur.
Pros:
The best beach on the island (Coral Beach) is a couple of minutes walk. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. There is no special exotic atmosphere in the hotel, but it is cozy and quiet. The room is spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. The equipment is a little tired, but the staff responds promptly. The sockets are UK, but you can get an adapter from reception. The contingent of guests is pleasant, mostly family and not noisy. There are many seafood cafes nearby, the food is delicious and inexpensive.
Flaws:
Breakfast is very poor and boring. There is a choice of 4 sets + salad bar. Although the location of the hotel is not bad, you will have to take a taxi to get to the exchange office and the pharmacy. The selection in nearby shops is poor. In duty free there is only chocolate. It is almost impossible to buy fruit, and those that are sold are absolutely tasteless.
Adviсe:
Do not book on weekends - crowds of locals. Monkeys come to the hotel, so nothing can be left unattended on the balcony or in the pool. If you like to drink, it’s better to take a bottle of wine, whiskey, etc. with you. You can't buy anything on the island except beer. The sea is warm and calm, but there are strong low tides that go far. Something is constantly biting in the water, either jellyfish larvae or plankton - we still don’t understand.

A small boutique style hotel located along Teluk Nipah, public beach is just across the road. Not an ideal place if you would like to spend time on the beach as there are many food stalls along the road and the beach are not well maintained. Hotel is not too well maintained either. Lots of local guests swam in the pool without proper swimming attire.

Nice resort with a cool shaped swimming pool. Located close to two nice beaches, one step away from several small restaurants. Hornbills and cheeky monkeys can be seen all day, even at/in the swimming pool. Rooms are big, staff is nice but not too motivated. We wanted to stay there 5 nights and ended up with 7. Also because the island is small and has a old school vibe.

This resort offers you a well maintained accommodation with sufficient facilities. We booked ourselves for a Special Deluxe room and we did not regret it at all. Though we had to walk up to the top floor, the room that we got as soon as we opened the door took our breath away! It was so romantic.
The room came with a double bed, with a view of the sea right from the balcony. The room was of a decent size, comfortable enough for 2 adults. For us, the best part was the large balcony with terracotta flooring, a picnic table, and a hammock. The view was amazing during sunset.
The pool was small, but considering the number of rooms they had, it’s acceptable. It’s not that deep, but you can still swim freely when there was no one else. I did not recall if there was a gym though.
The beach was just a few steps away from the property- right in front. There were so many water sports activities which could easily be rented/purchased from numerous vendors there. There were also stalls and restaurants along the road so finding your meals and necessities were easy.
For mobility, we rented a motorcycle. It’s very cheap (about MYR 40 per 24 hours on a low season, weekday). Another great thing about the Pangkor Island was that it’s a duty-free island and everything was so cheap (at the duty free outlets).
Will surely come again for many more times.

Anjungan Beach Resort is a beautiful retreat situated on one of the best streets, bustling with hawkers and seafood restaurants—especially lively on weekends. It's just a short walk to the beach, where you can swim, enjoy the sunset, and have a delightful dinner. The rooms are cleaned daily, the pool is lovely, and the resort’s peaceful atmosphere is a highlight, perfect for relaxing in a hammock while listening to the soothing sounds of the beach and nature. In the evenings, you can witness hornbills flying around the resort, a wonderful sight, though it's wise to be cautious of the monkeys. On one occasion, we accidentally left the bathroom window open, and a monkey came in and took our toiletries! We stayed in a room with a hammock, which was pleasant, although climbing up four flights of stairs can be a bit tiring, especially with a small child. The breakfast was great, although it's served à la carte rather than as a buffet. Overall, we had a fantastic three-night stay and would definitely return. Thank you, Anjungan Beach Resort!

What we saw on their site is not what we got coz the rooms are run down. We found out later that they have newly renovated rooms but somehow they chose to allocate us some new and some old rooms. The old rooms is old, musky with peeling toilet tiles and the toilet stinks! When we complaint they actually said we can move out if not happy but never said anything about refund. However, the breakfast was not too bad.

Staffs friendly. Breakfast awesome. Bed was comfortable. Pool super good!
Booked in room A22 & A24. Water pressure was so low that bathing proved a challenge. Some kind of a stick on flooring in toilet proved to be a big no no for me. Very dirty and smelly. As good as the breakfast was, cats were allowed in the dining to beg for food and kitchen staff were touching the cats and serving food!
Will I come again, something to think about!

The accommodation is really dated and is in disrepair. Bathroom has damp patch and peeling paint, and an ant problem in the room as well. The pool is really nothing to write home. Local guests often just in without proper swimming gear. Local area is dirty with plastic waste everywhere.

Kudos to all the staffs. They are very approachable. A resort that is accommodating for families/friends. Minimart and food, Western/Malay/Thai/Seafood, you name it, can be found nearby at Teluk Nipah and Coral Bay area. Small town come lively on weekend nights. Would like to come again one day.

Expedited welcome - We had booked 6 nights. Room 341 4th floor. We can't sleep with the windows open because of the monkeys! there is no mosquito net.
As well as the hotel pool, the cafe next door also has a pool, so if you like some peace and quiet!
Also in our room, the furniture was aging.

They do provide minibar fridge in the room but i'm not sure if they provide iron upon request.
Yes ofcourse! The beach and water are beautiful. Not much waves or no strong current and no fish nibbling your feet 😉
You just email them and I think they wil do their best to give you the best room they have, one of them at top floor with big room, big terrace with nice view.
Sorry, I'm just a guest. I think u should contact the hotel side
