+1
Don't expect aircon, a pool and 5 star service. If that is what you want, go elsewhere. That said, the Nazri camp doesn't want 5 star travelers, they opt for low budget travelers and cater for that group. Thus, if you are a backpacker on a tight budget, this is your place. There's no aircon but you don't miss it, a night it's more than cool enough. Location is not at the beach but at the forest edge but the beach is anyway 5 minutes walk Food is alright but better on the street. My further comments below are based on the price compared to quality.

This is the first my family stay in camp like this. Best experience! This place is suitable for travelers, backpackers. Not so fancy, but have all the things that is needed. You can even cook in here. Feel like home. Wifi is also available. You can walk to the beach and get some local foods there.

First off, this is probably the cheapest place on the island and 10 minutes walk to the beach. Hire a scooter and you're gonna have fun around the island. Here's where it goes downhill: dirty room, dirty public toilets, non-existent management. I had to remove gecko poo from my mattress, same poo appears on toilet walls (hygiene not a priority here). Management was nowhere to be seen on my first night, so I slept alone. Not so scary, but certainly not for families. The staff are friendly, but don't expect them to reply your messages or be around for emergencies. This is purely a backpacker's budget lodging - if you're travelling solo or max 2 people, on a budget and don't mind getting dirty, this place is fine. Get mosquito repellent.

Although it is located in a cute and comfortable garden with nice little and very cheap huts I definately cannot recommend this place!
The owner KNEW that there was a horde of bedbugs in this hut (number 1), because another backpacker told me afterwards, that he changed his hut for this very reason one day before. And although there were other free huts the owner gave me this one!!! It was a horrible end of my trip, I couldn't sleep anymore and despite all caution they are back again - IN MY HOME!!!!!!
I have to admit I am damn angry. But first of all, I want to prevent you from this nightmare.

Pangkor isn't very big and the beach area of nipah only has a small town which makes all accommodations close to the beaches (nipah and coral bay).
I was in an aircon room which was clean with plenty of room. A frame huts looked a bit small though.
Free wifi and tv in common area and plenty of places to sit.
Small kitchen available to use.
If you walk in the jungle beware of the leeches. Plenty of monkeys on the island.
Litlle bit hippyish but nice enough place to spend a few days.
Local restaurants very underwhelming.

This camp is really great! A lot of hammocks and dogs around. It's just 5 min from the Coral Beach and is the best place for chilling! Prices are good and staff is really friendly. I arrived here for 3 nights, but then I decided to stay here 5 nights more. Just in love with this place!

We booked two nights in Nipah Nazri Camp because of the pictures. When we went to sleep we saw that our mattresses were full of ants, we tried to contact the owner to changd the room but there was no one there so we sleep with the ants... the next day we saw the owner and he proposed to change rooms but the experience was already in our heads. To sum up, there are plenty of hostels around (maybe some MYR more expensive) so if you can afford another place don't go there.
There are no pictures of the rooms in trip advisor and they are basically a small hut made out of metal structure and really small.

Now I never write bad reviews but I am so shocked at the poor customer service, the lack of information and the whole place in general.
Me and my friend are travelling Malaysia for 10 days and we were told by someone in Kuala Lumpur that the Nazri Nipah Camp was a great place to stay, I could not disagree more. When we arrived to the hostel there was no one around, all the lights were off and we got a really strange feeling. I had already booked and paid for the accommodation 24 hours before so I was imagining someone may be at reception to greet us but this was not the case.
After ringing the bell for ten minutes a middle aged guy came to reception asking if I wanted a room, I explained to him that we had already booked and paid on Agoda 24 hours ago. The guy clearly was unsure of this and asked us for our names, what room, how many nights and when did we book - being hot and bothered also eaten by flying insects I just wanted to get to our room.
He took us to our private bungalow which in fact was a tin shed, small foam mattresses on the shed floor and a fan that didn't and couldn't of blown on us as it was squeezed into the apex of the roof.
We were very hungry but couldn't find the guy to ask where was best to eat but found a lady who was enjoying life on one of the hammocks and we finally set off for some food, I believe we ended up on coral beach and enjoyed a lovely curry at Big Daddies.
When we returned to the hostel, again, there was no one around. We started to think this place was a joke. We were really thirsty but the so called bar is never open. It was unbelievable how many mosquitos were around and I understand there always is but there was no form of candle burning, mosquito incense or any form of repellent to make our stay more comfortable.
That night was without a shadow of a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed in, it completely lacked any sort of life and I'm angry I had to pay £9.50 to stay there.
Like I said, I never write bad comments but this place deserves what I wrote for the poor standards!

Was here on 21-22 Nov 2015 on an impromptu trip with 2 best buddies. This would be my personal 2nd time staying here. They have all "usual suspects" for a backpacker; relaxing vibe, friendly atmosphere, resident pets, hammocks, open kitchen, public TV area and of course international backpackers from around the world. The price is way cheap compared to any other chalets in Pangkor, perhaps maybe the cheapest. The reggae theme is so homey and cozy, and really make you feel just to lay on their hammock all day long.

they do have aircon...
depending on the game theres a bit of green :)
The prices that Rahman-Squash mentions are correct. We tried to book in advance by making a phone call. Despite no one ever answered the phone. So we tried our luck so we tried to get a room on arrival. We took a taxi from the jetty to the guest house. And it was our lucky day, there were still some rooms available. There's nothing to worry about actually, because in that same street there are plenty of guesthouses/hostels with the same price range.
Good luck and enjoy Pulau Pangkor. You will not regret it, that place is amazing.
