The location of the hotel is very good. Plenty of restaurants and shops selling biscuits and salted chicken around the hotel. The well talked about soya bean, Funny Mountain is just around the corner. Pak Kong chicken rice is directly opposite the hotel. Concubine Lane and Plan B restaurant are about 15 mins walk from the hotel. The KTM train...

Very good value for ones. Nice little extras like a kettle and hairdryer. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean. Great shower. We liked the location, and it's not far to walk into the old town. We completely fell in love with Ipoh, it's beautiful heritage buildings, and art work. Would like to visit again...

The location was really good. All the nice restaurants were nearby. A very friendly and caring staff. The hotel and the rooms were really clean which makes it a very great deal to stay if you prefer somewhere nice and on-budget at the same time. The hotel has a private parking too. I will definitely look forward to go there...

Our main satisfaction factor is that this is a very strategic, comfortable hotel yet reasonably-priced. All the facilities are decent and comfortable with very clean surroundings, although there are inconsistencies (e.g. not all rooms have fridge or hair-dryer). In terms of location, it is so strategic that we managed to cover so many famous shops by just walking on foot...

Good location, clean room & bathroom. Stayed for 2 nights in a triple room with 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed. The bed has no backrest but a hard wooden corner. Beware of knocking your head when lying down. The check-in and check-out is efficiently performed by the staff friendly staffs.

Short walk to all the famous Ipoh must-eat places right smack in the middle of town! Room just a little too tight to move around but otherwise good blackout curtains and air-conditioned to get a good rest. Speak to the receptionists, they have some good intro for food too.

Stayed for just a night. The room has all we need although it's small. Not much space to walk. It's okay for you who don't bring much stuffs or luggages otherwise a lil bit too small. But the location can't be better. The famous salted chicken is just across d road. Lou wong beansprout chicken & famous kaya puff is...

Good location, private car park behind hotel!! Toilet cleanliness not so good! A bit smelly when d toilet door is opened n I think d room needed more airing to circulate the air! Should fix a exhaust fan in the toilet so that d smell from the toilet would not permeate in the air! The housekeeper did come n clean...

My bestie and I shared a Standard Twin Room which is located next to the main road. From our window, we are literally see workers across Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken shop! Light sleepers, beware! Room is very small and just enough for 2 persons with one checked in bag each! No closet to hand your clothes, only a few...

This place pretends to be a modern hotel, and a "boutique" one at that. This impression starts and ends in the reception that you can see from the street/in the official photos. The reception has great aircon, artsy decor and looks great. Once you venture further, it's unbearably hot (aircon and fans are switched off), no nice decor anymore, everything...
