Stayed here for 4 nights recently while in Langkawi. The accommodations are great, reasonably priced, and some of your money goes toward a program that they run which rehabilitates and cares for stray animals. Would recommend 👍

We really loved this resort, which is a collection of historical, restored houses from different locations in Malaysia, combined with a great very helpful staff, excellent drinks and a fantastic restaurant. Part of the revenue goes to a stray cat rescue charity, and a lot of very nice cats will welcome you as well, wish we did not have to...

After a long travel from India, when we reached this property, the most remarkable experience was we were informed that our bookings got upgraded to french colonial estate followed by the amazing refreshing drinks. Rooms are done very tastefully, ancient architecture, choice of furniture and accessories around one of a kind which we had never experienced before. Special mention to...

It is a unique place giving you the experience of staying at old Malaysian houses. The staff are friendly and the location is in between Cenang Beach and the airport. Cats for cat-loving people and there is a dog shelter too for dog lovers. I wish I had more time to spend there. Highly recommended.

If you like buildings with a story to tell, personal, low-key service and great food - this is the place for you. My fiancée and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The service was incredibly friendly (thank you, Zo) and efficient and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. It's not a big...

Set in a quiet area within 10 mins walk of the hustle bustle of Pantai Chenang. A good opportunity to see the various traditional houses from all over Malaysia all in one place. A good place to relax and enjoy some digital detox 😀

Room was located on the top story of an old Chinese House. Plenty of character and charm whithout the slick mod-cons of a resort. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Little extras like cakes, plunger coffee, bath salts etc.

if you are expecting a resort ( with all its downside like bugs, mosquitoes etc) then this is for you , but if you are expecting modern facilities you should definitely avoid this . Overall the experience is good ,there service staff is quite helpful and sweet. Good to know facts: Breakfast-included myth : they just keep bread , fruit,...

We stayed in the Colonial house- a charming and beautiful apartment that felt every bit authentic. Thank you to the members of staff who offered their hospitality throughout out stay. A...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Though classified as B&B/Inn, Temple Tree is actually more of a boutique resort of many cultures, an eclectic mix of heritage chic...Antique buildings of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian origin, make up this 8 villa hotel, with 8 rooms & 6 suites now open. Each building has, over its 70-110 year old history, created its own heart and soul. Hopefully we have given due respect to each of these family homes with the restoration process. These houses are now the continuing the story of people who live in them, our guests. ... more   less
