This accommodation shows to be one of the best in Malawi. The food is perfect, the rooms are nice and the campsites are perfect. The surrounding Zomba area show a nice mix of nature, friendly people and stunning views!

A lovely place to stay, we were only going to stay for a night in Zomba but stayed for longer thanks to Casa Rossa. Wonderful location at the base of the plateau, night campsite with electricity and basic but clean ablutions. Hospitality and food are amazing, in fact it's worth stopping here just for a meal, delicious, fresh handmade Italian...

Within 15 minutes of arriving at Casa Rossa, we both felt that there was something special about this place. The atmosphere as we sat on the veranda, enjoying a latte and listening to soft French jazz in the background was transformational. Mark is an excellent host and has put together a good team of people. We loved this place and...

We went there for dinner several times. Beauiful sunset sitting by the balcony. Delicious starters, we had samosas. I had pasta and it was great. The service was good, though on the slow side. The portion is a bit small. Nice coffee and cappuccino after dinner.

Stayed for two nights as a break from working elsewhere in Malawi. Felt very welcome from the start both by the owner and the staff. Peaceful veranda for a drink and dinner. Evening food was delicious and very good not only for Malawi but by any standard! The inclusive breakfast was also delicious and very generous, which set us up...

We spent only 1 night here but were charmed by the quiet place just a few hundred meters from town center on the road to Zomba plateau. Nice garden, great italian/local food, friendly staff, clean rooms. Had a nice stay there. Owners were very careful about our kids as they have 2 really big dogs which may not be advisable...

Wow what an absolutely amazing meal!!! Highly recommend the Saltimbocca & Filetto all'aceto balsamico, the homemade ice-cream & the homemade ginger liqueur to warm you up on a winter's night! A gem in Zomba!! Not sign-posted off the main road up to Kuchawe but definitely worth looking for. Use Waze to find it off the tar road on the right...

Decent place, good food, fairly expensive though. but the ambience is good. the staff is really good. For food they have pasta, steak and salad. You can also get crocodile meat. If you want a lasagna (which i recommend you do), you need to order 24 hours in advance. But it is worth it. Overall a nice, small place.

Casa Rossa is a place near to the centre of Zomba. You can walk from the centre or take a taxi. The people who run the place are very friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. We slept in one of the private rooms this time (two years ago in the dorm, was fine too). They were...
