The lodge is very homely and located in the beautiful town of Zomba, like an hour from Blantyre. I stayed there for 5 days and I must say the food is average at best and it takes long to get it ready. Breakfast was served...More

Annie's was comfortable and clean and with Malawian Charm...If you have a heavy bag, have the driver DRIVE up the windy road to your room, at least the ones that are up the steep hillside behind the reception and restaurant. We learned the hard way!

I stayed 14 days while doing some volunteer work in Malawi. My room (41) had a small kitchen with sink, refrigerator, water heater. Very large room, nice bath, desk. A good place to work. You do need to be able to walk up some steps...More

Room had cockroaches and leaking bathroom, lock seemed insecure. Wifi not functional as no cards available. Noise all night. Managers unhelpful. Breakfast waitress did her best, but restaurant had not been swept and food was poor.
