This place is currently under construction, not that they advise you of that when you book. The noise of the construction was so terrible to the point we couldn't hear our facilitator despite her trying to shout over it. The bathrooms are also under construction which means all the participants had to walk down a hill to get to the...

Ok, ok....so the hotel is not perfect, but I guess according to Malawian standards it is fine. Some parts of the place look like they are still under construction, but this only means they are going to improve. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One thing I hated: the towels....very old, with holes, torn, not smelly though...They should really...

I stayed here two nights and after having been told by my Malawian colleagues that this was one of the top hotels in Blantyre, it was a real letdown. Maybe the fact that they were redecorating the reception and other areas played in and maybe this is a great place for conferences but here is why I was disappointed: 1....

Stayed for 3 weeks, the wifi didn't work in the room, the aircons get switched off every hour. If you lodge a complaint, it does not get addressed. The restaurant is probably the only saving grace but the breakfast is just average. Very often items go missing and if you order eggs, your room number will be asked!!! Better options...

I stayed here for six nights on business. The room is really well appointed - what you would expect in your modern conferencing hotel. The bathroom was not so good - shower quite dirty with a useless shower nozzle. The breakfast wasn't good - grey eggs and limited variety. Dinner in the Aamari Restaurant is the star of the show...

Spent two nights at this hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Modern amenities in the rooms. Right in the CBD. Wifi is a bit of a problem. Could not access the internet for the two days. Its a quiet place usually full with people attending conferences during the day. Restaurant food was nice although i just picked the usual chips...

The hotel is quite nice and at a good location. The room was clean and it had all the needed amenities. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the extra charges though - I did some laundry which was very expensive for what it was - $15 for literally 5 items of clothing (small items). Room service was an extra $2 (1500...

Stayed whilst working in Blantyre for just over a week. Hotel is well located, food at the restaurant was good, and the room was clean / lovely with a little balcony which got sun in the mornings. Staff were super friendly, really making you feel welcome and part of their community - I actually miss our dinner conversations! They were...
