For jungle standards pretty ok. Food in restaurant is pretty good but it could take quite some time. Restaurant is nice and its a good location to find the rare other travellers here. Huts are quite big, but because your in the middle of the jungle you could entcounter creapy crawlers.

Maroantsetra is a place where people go to Masoala mostly. There are not many hotels in Maroantsetra town. Coco Beach is one of the good places to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Their bungalows are along the river. Rooms are simple and they are quite clean in such a small town (don't expect super clean). The bed could be...

This was a one night stay at a 'motel' with potential but suffering from a bit of fading glory. All in all it was comfortable enough. Staff was friendly and the rooms simple but clean although the beds could be updated. The cabins are located right on the river with a great view but previously concreted unattached patio areas are...

We stayed at cocobeach for two nights(before and after masoala). The staff were very polite and accomodating. The restaurant has a relaxing and pretty view of the water, you could sit there all afternoon. The bungalows are set in a lovely garden. We chose the cheaper bungalow, which was good value. The food at the restaurant was good (try the...

Nice food at the restaurant (though you should not be in a hurry!). Perfect location in Moroantsetra town with easy reach to the main shopping street, the bank, taxi brousse, boats to Masoala etc. It...

This is a lovely hotel in Maroansetra. Since the bridge has washed out, the hotel provides a boat to take you across the river (the hotel is on the river). The bungalows are great. Mine had a shower, flush toilet, and electricity as well as a mosquito net and good ventilation. The food at the restaurant is good and there...
