We started for Samburu Game Reserve at 7.30am passing through the central Kenya towns of Karatina a colonial military town during the second world war , Nanyuki and Isiolo all along enjoying the many things that were there to see and we were happy we didn't take the option of flying from Nairobi as there is an airstrip at the...

A nice cool place for relaxing and enjoyment with friends and families. The lodge has very helpful, friendly and attentive staff. They have nice and delicious food. There is a nearby river to the lodge and is a good nature with monkeys roaming around, big crocodiles in water and elephants quenching their thirst from the hot weather. The only place...

Samburu was by far our favourite destination on our safari, the setting is just BRILLIANT. The river than runs directly outside the lodges is beautiful, you hear amazing sounds all day and night from wildlife along with elephants walking down it, crocodiles and giraffe too. The game drives are great in Samburu, we lucked out with a fantastic safari guide,...

Friendly, attentive staff. Great food. Surrounded by nature with monkeys roaming everywhere, crocodile feeding and elephants by the river. Samburu is less touristy and gives a chance to view lots of wild animals, we saw the elusive leopard here. Team arranged a visit to a nearby Samburu village. Rooms were large and well equipped. Just watch out for the insects!

Lovely accommodations with an authentic feel of Africa and it's culture. The property has a real rustic feel with baboons, monkeys and wild animals as your neighbors. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Although their are lodging accommodations you feel as though you're one with the land and nature. Internet, constant running water and power shouldn't be a priority if...

Samburu Lodge is in a lovely riverside location in the fantastic Samburu Game Reserve. The lodge itself would benefit from a refurbishment, but our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in one of the furthest room right by the river which we thought delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt very well looked...

Conveniently located inside the park, Samburu Game Lodge offers clean and spacious room, good and friendly service. Restaurant food is fresh, and nicely presented. We stayed for 2 nights and were able to seen plenty of wild life, just closeby the lodge.

We stayed two nights at this lodge and really enjoyed it. We stayed at 5 different places in Kenya, and we would love to return to this place one day. The vibe is welcoming and happy from everyone who works there. The bar area overlooking the river is our favorite place to rest and feel refreshed with a cup of...
