We stayed at Sasaab for four days, as part of a trip organised by Africa Travel Resource that included its sister property Solio. As with Solio, we found this to be one of the best lodges that we have stayed in in either east or southern Africa Sasaab has enjoyed some prominence on television in the UK recently and this...

This was our first safari and first stop on a trip to the 4 Safari Collection lodges in Kenya. As we came upon the Sasaab Lodge after a 1 hour flight from Nairobi and a 1 hour drive from "the airport", it was almost unreal to come to this magical place. We were greeted by the staff with wet towels...

This was our first safari and it could not have been better. Scott and Nicky catered for our 3 generation group with flair, enthusiasm and great attention to detail. The lodges are beautiful, comfortable and well equipped and with stunning vistas. We were even lucky enough to witness the river flowing on our last morning and, as if we hadn't...

A long scenic drive from Nairobi, but totally worth it. The lodge is amazing, taking care of all your comforts. The tent was wonderful and spacious with a lovely plunge pool and beautiful scenery and clear views of Mt. Kenya and the wonderful landscape of the territory. We didn't do the game drives into the Samburu National Reserve, as we...

This was our first safari and we couldn't have chosen a better place to experience it. The beautifully thatched lodges blend into the landscape and are perfectly located alongside a stunning river landscape. We had our first viewing of an elephant herd and several families of baboons even before we had unpacked our bags. The lodges are stunning with a...

Kenya Safari....It is worth the 1.5 hours to Sasaab, you have a game drive through the park from the air strip. Loved my large tent with private pool, all the way down on the river. Many - not all - have a long walk to your tent. Fun activities like hiking to see the sun set or camel riding. ATVs....
