Stayed at Ozi's 15-17 April 2014 and paid KES2,000 per night for two people in a twin room with two single beds, towels, fan, mosquito nets and balcony. Breakfast is included in the price. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Good location close to the beach, jetty, and central Malindi. Staff member Lawrence is very friendly and helpful. Good security with... More

A really nice place in the budget price range. Rooms are fine and the bathrooms are fairly clean (although they could be a little cleaner). You get a traditional Swahili bed and a cupboard that fitted both our 70l packs for some security. The two awesome things about this place are Lawrence who was super helpful and really friendly, and... More

Apart from the prayer or call from the mosque next door this place is in a quiet relaxing part of town, just on the edge of the old town just near the jetty and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Ozi himself is a pleasure to meet! He is full of life and so willing to help you out with... More

Reasonably priced at about $11 dollars a night during low tourist season. Helpful staff that recommend good places to visit on your stay. Short distance from the tourist market as well as the beach. Good restaurants nearby and lovely view of the beach from the roof top.

Extremely friendly service - showed us good local places to eat, seemed very safe. Rooms are clean, bathrooms separate, but fine. No frills, but good value for money (about $10) and really good breakfast included.Phone: (+254)721-104099/ 0736-888879. Location: near good restaurants, tourist market and public beach

Ozi's was a great and perfectly safe place to stay in Malindi. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. The location was perfect- near ocean and market. I didn't spend too much time in Malindi, but Ozi's suit the bill! It was low season, so there weren't many people staying there...seemed like a stop-over place mostly people coming and going from... “There can be power cuts in Malindi at night which will stop the ceiling fans in the rooms working. In case this happens ask for a room that will have a sea breeze.”
