Most Toyoko Inn's are known for being very close to transportation options and this one is no exception. If you exit from the Akita station on the East Exit, go all the way to the elevator (if you have luggage) and get to the Mezzanine floor (M). Keep going to the right and you will see the Toyoko inn front...

I love this chain. i thoght of buying its shares (if it is public). the locations is unbeatable and the quality is allways good. if you look for a safe bet, choose this Toyoko inn. This is the first hotel from the chain which i stayed in that located insdie a mall. nice concept...

This typically Japanese businessmen’s hotel is built-in/abuts the JR train station so is an easy walk down the halls to the 2nd floor check-in counter. Guest rooms start around the 6th floor. Typical Japanese breakfast is included in their fabulously low rates but it is for the Japanese taste which I’ve acquired and enjoy. There was a tourist group one...

Cannot ask for more. This is a value for money hotel, located witiin very short walking distance from the Akita JR. Room is clean, comfortable, consider spacious compares to some other budget hotels in Japan. The only nothing to shout about is the breakfast. We can give it a miss. Selection is very limited, only Japanese breakfast.

Much like any Toyoko Inn in Japan, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and staff are friendly and helpful. A great buffet breakfast is included, and free coffee throughout the day. In the afternoon a complimentary Japanese curry is usually available. The hotel is very conveniently located within Akita station building, so you do not need to go outside when...

The hotel has very friendly staff who will go all out to help and serve you even though there is language barrier. The room is small but cozy and it is very clean. I love the homely feel in this inn and it is very value for money. It is located between a few malls, the bus station and the...

Stayed one night at Toyoko Inn "Akitaeki Higashigushi" (which means Akita Station East Exit, by the way) in February during my trip to Japan and Korea. I made my booking via Toyoko Inn's website. I managed to score a room at a very reasonable price inclusive of Japanese style buffet breakfast. The hotel is situated adjacent to the station, only...

Virtually on the station. A walkway joins the two. The staff had little English but were obliging and friendly.. The room was small but perfectly adequate and very well priced. Breakfast was included. Everything was clean and tidy. There are a few restaurants on the hotel entrance level but go through the station to the other side and there are...
