Very warm and thoughtful service, the traffic is very convenient, 5 minutes distance Takamatsu Bay, JR Takamatsu station on the opposite side. There are around the supermarket convenience stores, shops and other Hand-Pulled Noodle. In short, very convenient!

Reasonably priced, basic but clean hotel that is located within walking distance of both the train station and port, making it a decent choice for exploring the Setouchi Islands. However not all front desk staff can communicate in English and hotel fares badly in terms of security. The new rooms which are in a different building further down the street...

This is a very basic business and economy tourist hotel. We selected it because of its excellent location next door to the station and a block from the ferry docks. It was not particularly cheap but you were paying for the location, not the quality of furnishings. The rooms are small but clean and private. There are no restaurants or...

The hotel is really close to station and port - that is good, but not much else is good about the place. It is shabby - wallpaper curling off the wall, toilet seat broken. I am often amazed why in a relatively warm place like this we are supplied with polar-rated quilts. It was a terrible night's sleep with a...

This is the second time we stay at Areaone hotels (a Japanese chain), but will be the last one. The reason we book this hotel for our overnight stay was due to their location is next to the Car rental company, and only few minutes walk to the Airport limousine bus station. Hotel consists of two building, while only the...

The room condition fits a budget hotel standard, but a higher room rate was charged, particurlarly if it was on Sunday. Not worth the price. But the single room was bigger than the size of other budget hotels. Coffee and tea were freely provided at the reception counter. I lived two days in two different rooms. Found some facilities like...

Aged hotel, nothing fancy, standard small Japanese size room but it had got everything u need. The takamatsu eki is just across the street, ferry port within 5-7 mins of walk. Alittle extra to make the hotel deserve an average rating is that It has a self serve shampoo and conditioner bar with some of the popular to choose from...

Having stayed at a few other AreaOne hotels in different cities I didn't even bother to check reviews before making a booking; hotel rooms in Japan are generally clean and very well maintained anyway. Well, we were in for a shock when we check in at this particular one. We were directed to the 2nd building just a stone's throw...

location can't be faulted - close to port and train station; also close to a few bars and restaurants. but rooms are not good for non-smokers - very polluted and the air con vents look like they haven't been cleaned for 10 years. breakfast is good - served next door to hotel at local café; lovely family. bikes are free...

The room was musty, old and dated. The staff were grumpy and not very nice. On the upside - it is directly across road from station, but quite a walk to 'downtown' restaurants etc. Way over priced. We stayed in much much nicer in other locations for the same price
