Typical Japanese accommodations. Space is tight and don't plan on taking too much out of your suitcase. Small closet and no drawers at all. Pullman type bath but you gotta love the toilet. Toto with all the amenities except heated water. Bed very comfortable and air conditioning kept the room cool. Those that have not stayed in a Japanese hotel... More

The hotel was located perfectly for me walking distance to the Base and restaurants and few hundred feet from the train station. The staff was really great and friendly. My two biggest complaints was the bed and the breakfast. My bed was extremely uncomfortable I would have been better served sleeping on the floor. I would wake up every night... More

A few yards from Train station and Bus Stations. Within walking distance to resturants and Ginza. Very friendly staff spoke english. Good location upscale look in lobby. Nice clean rooms. Stayed 6 nights in 2014, now returning and have reservations for a stay in 2016. No complaints at all.

I would not recommend this hotel at all unless there are no other options for you. Corridor was smelly, had a stench that smelt like the drain. Breakfast was too expensive for the spread provided. I wrote a more detailed review on my blog. http://kandsgotravel.blogspot.com/2015/09/day-3-19-jun-2015-sasebo-washington.html?m=1

The Washington Hotel is convenient to the train and bus stations in Sasebo. It's clean and efficient, but don't expect any luxuries. The single room has no closet, no dresser, a tiny desk, a bed, and a small bathroom. No frills at all, but for the price (about $56 USD per night), I wasn't disappointed. The WiFi is free in... staff is helpful and friendly although there is a language barrier for English speakers. But they go out of their way to understand and help. Rooms are small by western standards but clean and have all the amenities. I really enjoy the shower water pressure and bath supplies and more hot water than you need. Location is very close to... As most reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is conveniently located in back of Sasebo bus station and across the street from the train station, both offering taxi stands. It is within a comfortable walking distance from the main shopping center and eateries of he city. If you are an active person, the walk to the Sasebo Navy Base is a... More

Located a 5 minute taxi ride from Sasebo's Navy Base, this hotel is right next to the bus line and across the street from the train terminal. It is also a nice walk from Sasebo's main shopping district. The room was small but had free Internet. The Internet services were almost unusable on my last day due to the speed.... More

This business traveller’s hotel is close to the train station and provides clean comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price. Beware that whilst the wifi is free it, is slow as most of it seems to run on the old ‘802.11g’ rather than the newer 802.11g’ standards/protocols. Those who a light sleepers may find the soundproofing lacking a bit however... More
