We have been staying at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka for a number of years now. The service is generally very good - a special thank you to the concierge (I think her name was Katsuki-san) for her help when a family member needed medical attention. The problem is that the hotel is exactly the same as it was when we...

This is by far, one of the best hotel rooms that I've stayed at. Room is really huge, with 3 single beds, 2 sofas, 1 glass coffee table placed comfortably away from each other , and the bathroom is half the size of the room! The bath tub itself is about the size of a slightly smaller jacuzzi, with an...

Just had one night here in Fukuoka - we were here for a quick weekend. First of all, if the hotel being 3 subway stops away from the airport isnt good enough, I dont know what is! We easily figured out the subway and just walked a few blocks and reached the hotel. The hotel is located in a PRIME...

After staying here for three nights, I have to admit I was a little glad to leave. Not because of the service, location or facilities, just that the room was cramped and the bed was tiny. Granted we paid a corporate rate for the room, but it still should have been roomy enough to fit a guy and a girl...

Stayed for 2 nights on our tour round southern Japan. We opted for a Club Floor room as this was a special birthday holiday for my partner and we didn't regret the extra touches that that provided. Although the room itself is probably no different to rooms on other floors, one obviously has access to the Club Lounge which provided...

My family and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka in early February of 2012 as a weekend getaway. It is located approximately 5 minutes from Hakata station (via taxi) and adjacent to The Canal City Shopping/Entertainment complex. I booked a suite using one of my Diamond Suite upgrade certificates. The suite included club lounge access that served a fantastic...

This place just isn't worth the price point. A lot of basic things were going wrong. 1) The wifi in the lobby works sporadically. When I pointed this out to the concierge, I got a knowing and friendly nod. When I suggested unplugging and replugging the router (internet fix 101), and got a sad smile, I asked if it is...

Due to my business in Fukuoka, I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt eight times over the past 16 months. The stays are always pleasant -- the staff is outstanding. The location is very central and the immediate access to the Canal City mall is great. The hotel offers both western and Japanese breakfasts; a nice touch for both locals...

Our family enjoyed a four day stay at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka. This is a very conveniently located hotel thoroughly deserving of the Grand Hyatt title. The rooms are spacious for Japan and the service is all above expectation. The staff in the Executive Lounge is only too pleased to help their guests in every respect. As a small example,...

Transfer from Fukuoka Domestic Airport was swift 15 minutes journey. The hotel’s location is excellent. It is nestled between the two main station: Hakata and Tenjin. Next to the hotel is also a big shopping mall, Canal City. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Red Light District. Room size is a bit small than usual but nicely...
