Unizo is located right in the heart of Fukuoka’s shopping district. Turn any corner and you will find yourself spoilt for choice by the sheer array of cafes, restaurants & shops. Some restaurants, especially those located at the back streets, open till late. You can never go hungry here. Unizo’s room is impeccably clean and amenities are well-stocked. They even...

Excellent location, about 100 meters from Tenjin station. Centrally located to shopping, night life, and restaurants. Very affordable, clean with a mother design. Traditional Japanese size rooms was very confortable considering that I usually book under the larger international chains like Hilton, Crown Plaza, or the Grand Hyatt. Tully's coffee right in front giving you a nice place to relax...

Originally booked for four rooms for one single night, when two of our colleagues could not make the trip, we try to have two of the rooms move to the second night and pay any differences, hell no, either Hotels.com's customer service is inadequate in dealing with the hotel, or the chain belong to a ridiculous company. I will never...

I read the review before booking the hotel. Someone wrote that the cigarette smell is only at the lobby. IT IS NOT TRUE!!! It is in the central air con of the hotel. We stayed at 3rd floor - non smoking floor- , cigarette smell was there. Luckily no smell inside my room. Besides the smell, I find that receptions...

Stayed for 5 nights here. Rooms were a little too dark, however it was spacious enough and beds were very comfortable. Design of the hotel and rooms are modern and bathroom amenities were well provided. Yes, there is a cigarette smell in the lobby as the smoking room is beside it. We usually dash for the lift and there are...

Dear Hotel Management, You MUST do something about the smell of your lobby. It is simply intolerable! How can you work in such condition?I feel for your staff who have to be at the front desk. The stench of cigarettes is unbelievable. I don't mind smoking so much but you have do something about the smell!! Do something about the...

Rooms are clean and larger than the average hotel at this price range. Lobby is small and smells of cigarette smoke from the adjacent smoking room of the coffee shop but it doesn't affect the rooms, thank goodness. Centrally located in Tenjin, near shopping and plenty of food choices.

It's located in Tenjin area, 5 min from subway station and 10 min from Tenjin underground shopping street. However, if you drive, it is difficult to find a parking. You need to drive through a narrow road to backstreet. There is not any designated parking lot for the hotel. We had a problem using the hotel phone number on GPS,...

We have been to Fukuoka many times, but it's the first time staying at Hotel Unizo. Whilst location was great, service was below par and to us, we must qualify that it's service that means everything to us. Upon walking in to the lobby to check in, the lobby smelled of smoke. We hoped it would just be a temporary...

Quiet hotel located in a lively area where you can find shops and restaurants but you must find it (at the end of a corridor). Clean room, the nice design in front of a shinto shrine. Cold reception, staff making home service if necessary. Internet access through WIFI unvailable during one day and washing machine unusable. Excessive price of the...
